It was very cool! Are you going to make it out this Sunday? I am going to make my official #3 cert attempt with Tommy out at Adam’s

I wouldn’t miss you pulverizing that gripper for all the beer in Adam’s ice chest!😀

Deadlift

220x10 PR!

Off 2” Plates

215x5 PR!

Shrugs

225x2x8

Chins

143.7x3 PR!

bodyweight x 11

Been eating big lately and it paid off today. I weighed 237 before my workout, so I may just make a go at the 120 weight class, even if I never reach a full 264 pounds. It would be nice to squat well into the 600s and possibly pull 700.

There's nothing more anabolic than a calorie.

Maybe some reverse grip if you want more volume?

I hadn’t even considered that. I certainly will try it. Might even have a go at benching every two weeks and maybe presses or something on the other week. Thanks!

I tried both reverse grip bench and overhead pressing, but even with just the bar I could feel a level of discomfort. So now I’m trying flat bench... so far it feels better...

Bench

105x12

Mild pain. Best stop.

Solid suggestion. Gotta be healthier than all the ibuprofen I’ve been using. I’ll ask the expert, my wife, about it. 😀

Awesome repping! Seems I can usually push good during a cold as well for some reason.

Thank you!

Of course my head felt like it was about to explode on both sets, and I hunched over a bit coming up on the 8th rep.  I don't want to do a set that hard anytime in the next year.

I did fourteen chins in honor of Emma and the fourteen years she brought us joy. We had to put her to sleep tonight.
