JHenze646 Posted January 4, 2023 Author Share Posted January 4, 2023 So first workout of 2023. back and bench - exercises, sets/reps, weights are unimportant right now as they will change. “Gripwork” = behind the back wrist curls The last few years haven’t gone ideally from a physical development standpoint. I haven’t stopped trying to do something but I didn’t log about it. I will try to post something interesting things along with the workouts moving forward. As you may know, I am a hobbyist welder and I often utilize bent bending steel to make different things. Well this arrived from Santa for Xmas. I have taken suggestions before with some good/interesting results so why not again. What would you make? its hard to say, i'd probably think of family or friends and make stuff they would like. Get some rough sewn lumber to mount them too. Make sign or something. With the decision to reevaluate my athletic endeavors, I will be doing varied things like arm work. Friday - Squat building squat 3x5 deads x5 calves and reverse hyper I had ran out of time before work so I committed to doing this workout when I got home at midnight. All weights are light with calves and hypers unweighted but I got the work in. Win. i decide to make a release knob for my shop press. The 2 inch stock is pretty big for my Taig lathe. I didn’t do anything too exciting so I’ll skip it. mon. squat - up to 205 x 5 planks and Bw lunges I made this “robot” bookend for my wife. The rest of the week has been unremarkable. friday squat 185 3x5 curls, skulls, rev. curls, french press. rev. hyper i am considering making a belt squat set up to see if that helps. Felt awful. after living here for a few years I finally started to get my outdoor training area together. It’s nowhere close to right or done but I can’t wait for things that may never come. My stone platform is in position. I grabbed an axle and some weights and went out into the yard. standing press 120 5x8 bent over row 120 5x10 club swings i stopped here because the hamburgers and bratwursts weren’t going to grill themselves. thurs. squat 265x5 bench 205x5, 225 3x2r shrugs 225 3x10 i am really bad about doing the accessories and didnt this day either. sat. squat 185 5x5 bench 155 5x10 pullups and again I opted out of accessories. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Standing press up to 160x1, 120 3x5 bent over row 160x5 + more sets kb press 3x5 reverse hyper 30 3x5 wrist curl 100 5x5 i grilled corn on the cob and cheeseburgers and watered my garden between sets. i was struggling to get out the door after my workout.
