i decide to condense deload to only a week.(am I getting better? Am I getting stronger?🤷‍♂️)

Where did the week go?

nothing of note this week regular lifting with a little bit of grip.

even though I was feeling bad today I went in on a harder shoe.

Update time! (Buckle in)

Last fall we moved and I jokingly referred to it as “spider relocation”. Well, I won’t be making jokes about spiders for a while. They have adapted surprisingly well to their new environment. A little too well... There are spiders everywhere with a particularly unnerving stronghold in the shed. And I don’t mean like webs in the corners, I mean full on standing their ground, crossing the floor towards you, and the especially nightmarish, blowing in the breeze on a single web strand from the neighbors trees to wrap around you when crossing the yard.🕷

Training

  I haven’t logged the last several workouts but that doesn’t matter now. The previous injury has re-emerged. I didn’t do anything either. I just sort of woke up this way. I have a lot of thinking to do about the future of training.

Shop

At first it was novel and exciting. Then it quickly grew into a habit. And now I am at the point where the only way to support my growing habit, is to start dealing. Ha!

oar (with sweet new FBBC pro dB handle) 50 5x10

skulls 85 3x10 & Dube-bell curls 30 3x10

 

i need a good curl variation I can do laying on the floor or something that isn’t uncomfortable. Any suggestions?(get creative)

Laying cable and/or banded curls. If you dont have one yet a cable setup is pretty easy to rig up with a loading pin and creative talents such as yours. I like to use the band to anchor the loading pin to my power rack so that, not only do I get the overload, it prevents the loading pin from swinging around.

Excellent point. I have a simple cable set up and the wildly swinging pin is a serious hindrance. Thanks.

I have no plan to get back into bending I just can’t bend shoes right now.

Did regular workouts on tues and fri. I scaled back to half the volume on fri. because my shoulders feel off. Today(sun) some body weight work and some much needed club swinging. Hit a little DO, and some ugly card tears, first time tearing Mavericks.
