Josh's Mm0 Challenge

I dont care about what my coc3s rate at really. Mm1 is what counts and its the same for everyone! :)

I used my 146 lbs to get mm0. Its light but i have lighter ones too.

When you can close a really heavy coc3 you are getting close to mm1 :D

A race to MM1 should be very interesting given all of the MM0s!!

Thanks for all the positive sentiments...I feel better about using such a light 3 now.

Any video of your excellent squat and bench work?

I never really thought about posting my strength lifts that didn't pertain to grip...thanks for the compliment and I'll make a few videos next time I work bench or squats (I did bench today just have not logged the workout yet due to being at work).

With risk of sounding like a Broken record I will say; try Chezs gripper program dewd! ;D

It owns all! A month or two on his program and you'll rep that coc3 easy ;)

You know I always ask for guidance and then I don't listen...I do much better on a program...I'll check out his youtube video and start it this weekend...does it spell out reps, sets, and frequency?....p.s. please be a broken record...especially if you see something I don't

3 reds on my cert attempt....they were unable to see the set

This is an attempt I made to submit today but it has the same issue so I am going to rest up and make a new attempt...probably going to have my wife film it...seems to work better that way

First time I closed my #3 I couldn't close it again the next time I tried. Sucks. Just had to wait and heal up

Sure does...I just want the MM0 over with so I can move onwards and upwards

I'm finding the videoing of the close so much harder than actually squeezing the damn thing.

Agreed

I've come up with a way the works rather good for me.

I put the iPad on the corner of the table and rest it against something to get the iPad to face forward rather than 45 degree up.

I stand next to the iPad and my arms/hands come down infront of it.

I filmed my mm0 while having my iPad flat on the table. Wont work when you cert mm1 and up cause you've got to show the package and open it, have the gripper in frame at all times. I'd have to hang it from the roof for that to work. :D

Seated Barbell Press

  • 135 lbs 1 set of 5
  • 185 lbs 1 set of 7
  • 200 lbs 1 set of 3 PR
  • 190 lbs 1 set of 5
  • 185 lbs 1 set of 4

Grippers

I wasn't supposed to do grip but wanted to work on the videoing. I warmed up and went to the GM 141 lbs...I closed it both hands and almost doubled it in the left (missed paper thin). I then did multiple videos with the CoC 3 138 lbs. but did not like them...At the end we figured the set up out but my strength was gone...I am going to start Chez's program tomorrow...I'm over doing it with grippers so I think if I start a schedule tomorrow doing Chez's program 2x a week I will be on track to make some huge gains....Just need to stick to the 2x a week and not touch grippers in between...

This one I felt was too narrow

This one I moved the gripper in and my wife moved the camera which made it too busy.

The third one I liked and I sent it in for judging.
