gazza
Matt 1st off,a big congrats on your excellent placeing in your 1st Strongman Competition I realy enjoyed readind your indepth review,as i do with Brian,s. Some of the events were you did not do as well as YOU might not of expected of yourself,i think was just down to Fatigue,Adrenalin can realy zap you, sometimes more than you think.Plus obviously a days events/strongman will also take there toll. What was the diameter of the log lifted, and also what type of Farmers walk implements were used. Good luck in the next comp,i no you will do even better. gazza
Matt Whats the weight and length of that log,i just measured mine its 11" ,i thought it was 10",I started pressing it for the 1st time last week, the clean part is easy to me,its the press cause of the logs diameter and wanting to hit you in the kipper on the way up. I make 3 single attemps at it every day at the end of whatever else i,m doin on the day,so am warmed up,sometimes i get all 3 sometimes only 1,when i start havin 5 attemps and consistently get 4-5 each time i will up the weight. My farmers are also 11" made outa the same steel tube, they are a real Motha to turn with and cause there wide realy wallop the shoulders as well. Gonna make me some stones this or next week.
