Hello All. I'm very glad for the interest of my handle and loading pin. My idea with the handle and loading pin was to find a standard and quality that is identical between different copies. I have t

I returned from the post office only 30 minutes ago, in a mad rush to try out my new Swedish Revolver before I have to run off to work. Mr. Wigren was not lying. This thing will not inflate your ego

Funny thing happened the other day. I was working with the LGC, doing sets of 15 with 52.5kg. A big guy walks up and starts talking to me. He said he has lifted this and that on the RT. He leans over to pick up the 52.5kg but much to his own surprise, he couldn't budge it off the floor! After some hesitation I explained to him that this handle is much harder than the RT and that 52.5kg is probably close to 70kg(maybe even more) on the RT in difficulty. I almost didn't want to tell him that at first since it was pretty funny to see him question his own ability  . But after a few seconds I couldn't bare to see him suffer in self doubt, and I told him the truth about the handle.

Anyhow, you guys made any progress? I finally lifted the 67.5kg I've been chasing the past few months, without chalk to boot! I have gotten the idea to lift without the chalk for a while until I hit another plateau, and then reintroduce chalk into my training as a means to stay motivated as the chalk will help my numbers to go up (hopefully).

That's pretty funny.

After Nationals I will start training it in preparation for a contest I will host. Would love to pull 170.

Eric came over to train last night, and brought this serious grip toy with him.

I weighed in at 54k and pulled 55k both hands.

Tried 57.5k as well, but barely got it off the ground.

Interesting thing to note is that although the handle is tougher than my new rolling thunder, I pull the same amount of weight on both.

This may be because of my losing pin being 38cm vs the lgc pin being 5cm longer.

Fun handle, look forward to pulling 65k on it soon.

Today: saw all the talk on this thread and had to give it a go.

Previous best was 110k total at 54k bodyweight.

Just pulled 116.4k at 59k bodyweight. Getting stronger!

Also got air with 60.5k LH and 58k RH.

170 lbs would be a great lift. How are you with the Inch dumbbell? I know you speculated a few posts back that the lbs might be transferable between the LGC handle and the Inch. I know that Martin can lift 75kg with either hand, and I recently saw him post a video of him lifting the Inch relatively easy. I'm sure it will differ for different people, some will have to lift more and others less, but it seems that you were correct in your speculation.

I thought I was strong for my size lifting 130kg total at 80kg BW.

130kg total as in 67.5kg with the right hand plus 62.5kg with the left.

BTW I saw you asking me on Youtube how much I lift with the RT. I don't have an RT at the moment. But I know a guy who has one locked away in the same gym that I train (might even be my own handle that I gave away a few years ago). Next time I see him in the gym, I'll ask for the handle and then see what I can lift. I'm guessing and hoping that it will be around 80-90kg.

David, Tommy left his Inch with me a month ago, but I really haven't touched it. Maybe I will get inspired to train for a full deadlift after Nationals. In the meantime, I'm still on my very event-specific training regimen for the next contest coming down the pike. But yeah, I suspect I will be requiring maybe a few pounds more than Martin before I could do the Inch.

Wow, those are some huge weights Arne, especially if it pretty much compares to the Inch pound-per-pound/kg.-per- kg. All those guys must manhandle the Inch!

Last year I tried a baby Inch 55k or thereabouts back-to-back with the LGC handle loaded with the same weight and the former was much easier. Admittedly a baby Inch does not generate as much torque as a heavier, wider diameter Inch.
