Nothing was really close to max as i wanted to test my back. Feels good today. I'm gonna start doing them again, but will approach with caution. Anthony C.
Good workout bro. It's weird sometimes I pull at or near PR level in grip if I'm slightly sick - especially cold/cough Thanks Jon. I agree, I have had some pretty darn good sessions with a little bit of a cold. I noticed in your log that you also have the thin cap 25 pound plates. How do you feel they compare to a regular 25 Olympic for plate curling? Mine are thin and smooth and particularly hard (for me) to do reps with, but on an Olympic 25 I have gotten 12 reps with a straight wrist. jvance
They put more pressure on the fingertips b/c the thin width doesn't allow the thumb to grip down well like it does on my thicker plate. Almost totally different feel

Almost totally different feel I hear that. I've thought about just picking up one Olympic plate to do curls with since it's more comfortable for me

Anthony C.
How those RT holds working for ya? Never trained it like that or thickbar in general I can't really give you an answer because I've been training RT after grippers for a few months now. My grip is usually pretty burned out by then but since I focused on thick bar leading up to the king Kong, ive put it on the back burner for now. Also, I haven't really been able to get stronger elsewhere while bending. Just kind of trying to maintain for now lol
Anthony C.
Did Pinch today 2HP using 2'' sorinex pinch block 4 x 3 x 125 Blob drags using 41.8lb fatman About 4 drags each hand for 17 feet. TTK Right: 5x12.5, 2x12.5, 14x10, 3 second hold with 12.5 Left 5x12.5, 3x12.5, 14x10, 13 second hold with 12.5 Pretty good pinch workout! I actually got a little stronger. I'm getting better with that block and am hoping I can lift it within the next 2 months or so. Next week I want to see if I can do some drags on a thin carpet for extra resistance. I did that with the block I was working with before this one, but I can tell I'm not ready yet for the negatives on this blob. Hopefully very soon though. Anthony C.
Awesome battle Anthony! The red is not far now Thank you Tom! I was so happy to get this bend. I bruised up my palm pretty good on it though. Fortunately I have a planned week off next week so I'll rest up and come back even harder!
Anthony C.
Did thick bar, legs and some grippers last night: Iron Bull 2.0 Sumo Deadlifts 3 x 5 x 225 Conventional Deadlifts 3 x 8 x 225 One legged leg press 4 x 10 x 230 Lying Leg Curls 3 x 10 x 110, 10 x 100 Iron Bull 2.0 Wide Grip pullups 2 x 12 Grippers, All 20 mm block set unless specified otherwise Right: 5x109 coc 2, 5x109 coc 2, 5x102 coc 2, 9 wide set reps x coc 1.5 Left: 5x ghp 4 unrated, 10x coc 1.5 30mm block, 10 x coc 1.5 20mm block Great workout! I wanted to see where I'm at with axle deads since it will be an event at my next comp. 3 sets of 5 with 225 was reassuring. I have a number in my head as to what I'd like to hit at the throwdown but I won't throw it out just yet. Hadn't planned on doing grippers as my palms are still pretty beat from the other day's M bend, but I was like what the hell, why not. Now a week of rest from lifting. Catch you all on the flip side.
