That was pretty cool how he was dragging that mat with the rocks on it. Good for key grip

Thanks for posting the interview!

Mark is a really great guy and an amazing strength athlete.

My first interview with him is pretty cool too

His doing a 474 one arm deadlift (when his other arm was recovering) was just mind blowing to me.

I am in the process of securing more interviews with champions of Strongman and grip.

Thanks again.

Great interview, Chris! I was just talking to my wife on a walk about your latest ultra training. Fascinating. Especially considering your physique 10 years ago (or more) and then comparing it to how you look today.

We'll be playing with the mat drags as well. Having moved over 200 of them through the years we know how taxing they are on the grip. Good GPP work

Nice interview! I like the mat drag also! Another way on improving pinch grip.

Great interviews! Felix has been one of my favorite competitors as long as he's been competing. Always enjoyable to read about him.

Thanks a lot Ben. Kind of cool that I came up in that conversation.

It is quite an interesting journey without a doubt. The training is unique (with serious weight training added into training for a foot race) and at times brutal. And it will be quite an adventure running/walking for 24 hours! It is cool that it is a looped race so I can tweet out my adventures and struggles while everyone else is enjoying their New Year's celebration! :sorcerer:

What is also interesting (and slightly concerning) is that since I have been training my legs again in the gym, I have been (as I expected from past experience) sort of blowing up. Not just my thighs but overall. I like it generally but I will see if it has an impact on my ability to move (of course I am hoping that it makes it easier in some ways)... I don't want to get too much bigger though. It is just my genetics.. training legs for me just unleashes growth and strength. I know this is the case for many.

Anyone that might be interested in this crazy race (where others will be racing for multiple days  ) check out my overview of it

I'm really glad many of you liked the interviews. Mark is a great ambassador of the sport.
