I have't done deads against bands in a long time, and was a little rusty on set-up and technique.  I probably should of started lighter and done more reps, but was pressed for time, and didn't think too much about it.  Anyway, they were tough, but time-permitting, I will try to work these in occasionally.  Maybe as an "off week."

Very, very difficult time with the HRS today.  Couldn't quite get ideal positioning, and it took a lot longer than it should of.  But, I haven't bent bars in this dimension/length in a long time, so definitely not seasoned to it anymore.  Still a lot of fun though!

Today was the first day I was able to break the bar on the HRS snap.  I've been trying this for a few weeks, sporadically, and mainly just getting tired and frustrated.  But, today, after a collective 10+ minutes across 3 sessions, it finally broke!  Granted, the time is pretty bad, but, getting past that first one is the key with this, I think.  For awhile, I was beginning to question the steel, thinking I had some mutant batch.  But mainly, just getting frustrated with something I had very little experience with, and no real time to devote to improving it.  Now, I need to improve my conditioning a little.  I don't really have time for cardio (either weights or cardio), but can work in more stuff like this and heavy swings.

The braced snap was tough, but my changed mindset ("it's possible") definitely helped my endurance.  Regardless, it still took a long time, despite continuous output.  I think the total time was 12 minutes, with a 30-second break at the 8 minute mark.  Grippers felt OK, but I had to reset my set twice on the last set.

I wanna be impressed, I do. But i crushed a gripper and lifted a block weight. Not sure this compares.

Thanks man!  Definitely feeling better with the endurance stuff.  The first few attempts were tough after a few minutes due to (lack of) conditioning.  But it's getting better.  This is my new form of cardio.  :D
