I was feeling pretty weak today.  Hate missing a top rep/set but had no chance at redemption so just passed.  Knees and hips were screaming throughout.

I'm pretty sure that the 13 pull-ups was a PR.  These were dead-hang, full reps too.  I am going to be setting some goals for when I turn 50 next summer and a pull-up goal will be one of the big ones.

Thinking about working my red Slingshot back into the fold.  This was the one I used at a bodyweight of 25-30lbs. heavier, so not getting much from it.  I may buy a one-size smaller one this summer to get some extra slightly heavier work in.  I also have the black SS and the Titan Ram but cannot find either.  Both were used when I was heavier too.

Deadlifts felt pretty strong today.  Bodyweight on the first day of June is 182.7.  Bodyweight on June 1, 2022 was 217.5.  I was thinking about entering a meet this summer, with the hopes of competing at 181, but the more I dial in my form/technique at this lower weight, the more I am seeing how my leverages have changed, which has affected every part of the lift.  I'm going to get a few months of work in at this lower weight and relearn some of the movements and variations and hopefully do a meet this fall.
