Squats felt heavy today and slow.  And my top sets with grippers were pretty bad.  I was making some attempts at my 140lb. Grand Master and was barely able to move the handles.  :unsure

Thanks man!  Just so much pain in my hands right now, from KTA ... probably need some serious rest and recovery.  But, I am going to be attacking this bar again very soon.  :D

I ended up too slow on the descent, which, with the light bands not really being that tight on the set-up, I wasn't getting a ton of pop in the hole, and couldn't recover on my last set.  My power rack isn't that high, so not many other options with the lighter bands, aside from using a thicker band (which I'd rather avoid with raw squats).

My crush was pretty bad today with KTA.  Not even close with my #3, and ended up missing my 136lb. 280N multiple times.  Bending felt OK with the hand pain.

The Hub has always been one of my favorite lifts and progress has been good over the years, but I have no clue when it comes to the shallow hub.  I've only attempted this thing 2-3 sessions,  but it just feels really awkward.  40lbs. felt OK, but 42.5 felt like a ton and wasn't budging.  Going to start spending some more time with this, hopefully, when KTA is done, and try to figure out technique and get my numbers up.

I took another shot at the Shiny DU, and was stopped pretty good, when compared to the last attempt.  Might have gotten it to a little past 15 degrees, but it felt a lot tougher today.

I attempted my first card-tearing ever today.  I picked up a few decks from the dollar store and made some attempts in between sets of deadlifts.  I tried half a deck at first and was having some difficulty, as it was really awkward.  But, after some experimentation, I tore right through it.  I then made an attempt at 40 cards and it was relatively easy too.  Finally, I tried a full deck and was able to tear through it, after about a minute.  The first tear was decent, but I started losing my grip and had to readjust, making it a little more challenging throughout.  These were the "Classic" kind with the globe shape from the dollar store ($1/pack).  This turned out to be a lot of fun, and I will definitely be doing more of it, while trying to read up on it a little more and watch some technique-related videos.

I wanted to try something new with the presses, so was messing around with different-height lockouts.  185 went up OK, but barely got 195 moving.  It was the first time in a long time attempting the ATB.  200 felt heavy, but not too bad.  I would like to work this device back into the routine a little more.

Bench and presses felt pretty weak today.  Overall, feeling pretty run-down.  The kids have been sick and I've been getting 3-5 hours of sleep per night.  I think this is finally starting to catch up to me.

Grippers felt a lot more solid today, as compared to the past few weeks.  Kinda disappointed with the 185 press miss.  Worse, it wasn't even close ... no power.
