Stephen Ruby
Wow viking power! Every video was amazing, unreal pinching ability. Timo Lauttamus is unbelievably strong-and flexible goodness I felt pain watching that haha- You have one of the best group of grip athletes on the planet training at your gym, amazing work by all. EricMilfeld
A lot of incredible athletes at your gym, Juha! Do you happen to know Timo's stats: height, weight, hand length? His pinch is off the charts.

That's a heavy man to be doing one-arm pull ups like he does.
odin
Some of the most impressive grip feats ever. I believe Richard Sorin is the only one to get air on video w/ the 50 lb. Blob on a one-finger + thumb lift (will look for link later).
Mikael Siversson
Very impressive indeed but 'Viking power'? Finland was not part of the 'Viking realm' (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and, by colonisation, Iceland). Wow viking power!
meduza
Very impressive indeed but 'Viking power'? Finland was not part of the 'Viking realm' (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and, by colonisation, Iceland). Wow viking power! You have right! But today there is no "vikings" in sweden, iceland, denmark and norway. We are all cowards. Finland people is really hard in the psyche. Finnish sisu!!!
Mikael Siversson
It think the better third of the Swedes migrated to America in the mid-1800s and I agree that Sweden at has gotten painfully soft lately. Sisu or not, Timo was actually sort of challenged in the 1HP Euro a couple of years ago by a Swede and lost. You have right! But today there is no "vikings" in sweden, iceland, denmark and norway. We are all cowards. Finland people is really hard in the psyche. Finnish sisu!!! Edited May 10, 2013 by Mikael Siversson

There was an american not that long ago, that stopped me on the street in Copenhagen and asked me, where he should go to see some vikings :P

odin
I would think this thread would have 100+ replies. Maybe people are just speechless due to the staggering (and perhaps unprecedented) Blob strength displayed by Timo.

Mikael Siversson
Juha, Does Timo do any specific stretching for the thumb to improve the opposability of it? Holy crap, that's some crazy pinching up there, one finger + thumb blob, incredible! Yeah, very sick stuff. Timo is king of the hill with York50. Timo´s answer: "Not really specific stretching and no goal to add more flexibility, just trying to keep it on my level, which means i'm stretching daily hands and wrists, naturally i do have flexible fingers, which is useful in pinching.. ..for sure, once i lost sort of 1HP challenge for The Man Of Skåne then i just decided to collect my bones, do better and come back stronger, Sisu or not? don't really now :D" Edited May 13, 2013 by Juha Harju
