I never understood the fun of those things. But that's me. So I would say no.

But hey...I'm just a MM level 0 haha

is the powerball a must have in any grip enthusiats tool bag?

I would also say "no" considering how few people have one.

Although Acorn has and possibly still does use one for warm ups and recovery. He's okay strong.

I think they're okay for rehab/prehab flushing blood into the forearms but I think we've typically got better exercises and toys at our disposal as grip specific trainees.

If you get the digital readout showing you max RPM it is very fun and addicting.

But you dont need a powerball

I've got the signature with the flashy lights and all. It is very fun. Easy to overtrain because of the fun too lol

Like Jason said, it's good for a pump to get a fresh flush of blood to the forearm. I used it at work alot between climbing days if the forearms were sore. I haven't used it in a long time though. Just takes too long to get a pump now with it. Supersetted heavy axle wrist curls does it for me now.
