It's odd, because it's not like I was doing a super heavy dead, or anything like that. It was just KB snatches, which gets the blood moving of course, but I don't pressurize the hell out of my head when I do them. I guess this is what's like to be approaching 40. Today: Bench: 135# x 10, 185# x 5, 225# x 5, 245# 3 x 5 < going to be moving the high end up to 265# x 5 next week, hopefully Zercher Squats: 95# x 20, 135# x 10, 185# 3 x 5 < feelin' it in the abs KB Snatches: 36:36; 16 reps/int; 53# kb; 8 intervals < taken this to 10 intervals next week & 12 intervals the following Tomorrow is grip, pull-ups, deadlift, maybe some sled. Did some closes righty #2.5 ccs, and just missed closing my #3 ccs, righty. Lefty was completed junk today. Have some residual soreness in the knuckles that's shutting down the CNS. Pull-Ups: BW+57# 4 x (1,2) Deadlifts: 385# 2 x 5 Also did some TTK, sledge, and formulator work. Nothing exciting, just the usually pre-hab & conditioning. Have been doing some prehab on my shoulders and neck, but nothing else has been going on. I have some antibiotics leftover that I'm going to try to knock it out with.
