Misc. Mayhem

Seems to be a bit better. I had a 'blind spot' in my right eye for a bit, and was having trouble focusing. It's odd, because it's not like I was doing a super heavy dead, or anything like that. It was just KB snatches, which gets the blood moving of course, but I don't pressurize the hell out of my head when I do them. I guess this is what's like to be approaching 40.

Today:

DBPresses: 93# 4 x (1,2,3)

Gracie hops & negatives: 6 sets of 2 each

KBRows: 103# 5 x 10

Wide Grip Bench: 90# 2 x 10, 135# 2 x 10, 185# 2 x 5

Sled drags: 145# up to the corner & back, two times

Blob drags & TTK work as well. < need to get my 50# blob in the air again. I let this slack off after I qual'd for Nationals late last year.

Gracie hops & negatives (posting here, is a bit redundant, but oh well):

Soon!

That's what I keep telling myself, but it's been a couple months now. I'm getting longer airtime on the negatives, and the hops are higher, but I need to do something to jump start the progress, I think.

Grippers: 10 reps, #1Filed, tns, 3 reps Right, 2 reps Left #2Filed, ccs. Did some closes righty #2.5 ccs, and just missed closing my #3 ccs, righty. Lefty was completed junk today. Have some residual soreness in the knuckles that's shutting down the CNS.

Deadlifts: 385# 2 x 5

Also did some TTK, sledge, and formulator work. Nothing exciting, just the usually pre-hab & conditioning.

Reviewed my training log from last year in comparison to current progress. If my pull-ups continue to progress as they are, should be able to try for a BW + 107# pull-up in one month.

Sinus infection took me down for the count this week. Have been doing some prehab on my shoulders and neck, but nothing else has been going on. I have some antibiotics leftover that I'm going to try to knock it out with.

Today:

DBPress: 93# 2 x (1,2,3,4) < that's all I had energy for.
