Could you tell us a little about your background in lifting?

Started lifting straight out of high school, more of bodybuilding training. In 2003 I found strongman and I have been hooked. Training grip is a big part of strongman, I enjoy grip work.

How did you get into grip training?

I realized I was pretty good at it through strongman so I did some searching and found Chris Rice in Crooksville, OH. He taught me some lifts and seemed to think I would do well with it so i entered his contest a few weeks later.

You are now a GripBoard Mash Monster, what would you recommend to those aspiring to close this gripper?

Double Overhand Olympic Bar deadlifts for max singles, doubles and triples!!
