If you are local and don't come, you're CRAZY!

Sort of like if you're local and don't occassionally train at MM...

At this contest or the next, there is potential for THREE 400 pound axle lifters... how's that grab the shorties?

Good luck to everyone tomorrow. I know you'll all do great. Adam I'll see what I can do for the fall decathlon, but a winter decathlon ie, December, I could definately make it out. Just sayin'

Contest was incredible! Very taxing; I'm sore already. There were enough people that all 10 events were run in 3 flights!

A few highlights for me:

  • 158# gripper close at 145# body weight.
  • 75.07 1HP (66k class WR)
  • Missed 79.04 1HP
which would have beat the 74k WR.
  • 166.25 2HP (66k and 74k WR)
  • 47.03 GripTopz Shallow Hub lift (66k and 74k WR)
  • 144.78 GripTopz Rim lift (66k and 74k WR)
  • 13.59 sec Ironmind Silver Bullet hold.

It was a great day. Saw some incredible stuff including an inspiring day of lifting from Mr. Adam Glass. Shocking numbers.

Well done Matt!

What did you get in the 1HP total (I assume both hands were contested)?

My R+L total was 145.18.

Mikael you were right about the attempts. I would have liked to have four. I'm fairly certain I would have got 75 righty and 79 lefty.
