Added some 3" RH fun:

20kg 1x10 L and R

30kg 1x1L and 1x5R

35kg missed both hands

holds with 20kg added:

R: 30sec, 25sec and 18sec

L: 20sec, 30sec and 16sec, alternated L and R and to failure.

Morning:

Blobholds with loadable blob with 5kg, 10kg, 12kg, don't know how many holds, all aiming for 10sec

GSSnegmachine with 20kg: minireps 1x20, 1x20 both hands

30kg; 3x1

Interesting evening today,

Warmed up with VulcanI chrome spring lvl 6

Then speedcloses at lvl 9 L and right (1x5, 1x10, 1x10) from about MMS or a tad wider

Then negs with extended handle BB elite, aiming for 5-7sec crushhold, about 5x1 both hands

Short workouts but arms feel toasted anyway!

Haven't pulled of another ghp7 close since mm0 cert, so time to increase workload a bit.

Tonight: GSS SW 30kg loaded negatives to failure, L almost touch and go, R crushed to 7 sec, both about 5 reps

BBE extended handle: both hands negs to failure, up to about 7 sec

IM 2,5 filed 5x1 and hold, R better than L

IM 2 L: 10x1, R: 1x10, 1x10

(in between some attempts at both the #3 and GHP7 with R, mms, all missed by a tad)

What I need to improve, is explosiveness, superfast closing. Im going to practice this with the #2, singles but for maximum speed and loudest click.

Time for a plan...

Tonight TSG's only.

Went for the 2 and the filed 2,5.

While peeping at Transformers on the tele, I did lots of reps, singles, overcrushes, holds with both grippers mentioned, TNS, CCS with the 2 and wide mms, mms with the filed 2,5, L and R.

Focussed on speed, loudest click, grinding.

Transformers are finished, quite amusing movie btw, and so is my gripworkout for today. Massive pump!

Transformers is a cool movie. Best of the three, this one. Used to watch them on Sky channel in the early days haha

Going strong? Can you notice some thumbstrength increasing since you are doing more pinchlifting?

Ha Geralt,

Thumbstrength is not noticeably stronger yet. Progress on the blobs for now has more to do with getting the hang of it than raw power. I do like the combination of wide static pinch and the dynamic pinch. For the dynamics I use all DH tools: tombstone for both hands at the same time for reps (favourite), and ofcourse the thumbscrews (sometimes)

Didn't notice any carryover to the TSG;s yet, but just starting ofcourse.

This afternoon:

WristDeveloper orange spring:

lvl 1 1x10

lvl 4 2x10

lvl 7 1x5

This evening:

Wrist developer orange spring;

lvl 1 1x10

lvl 4 1x10

lvl 5 1x10

Just volume, all sets are double: one with the left and one with the righ hand on lead.

Yesterday

volume on the WD. Level 1 to 4 orange, both hands 1x10 each level

minor gripwork

Today

Morning: Loadable blob up to 10kg plates loaded, holds for up to10sec, both hands

IM wrist reinforcer with one 1 and one 3kg plate added in that order, for pronation-supination work over 170deg arc, elbow on table. Both hands 1x10 three times

Afternoon: blobfun outside. The weather was great so why not.

17.5kg blob: L and R several lifts to waist heigth

20kg: saw air today! 2 or 3 lifts almost to waist both L and R!

30kg blobblock is a long way, but Im starting to believe it's possible! :)

Gripwork: Vulcans up to lvl 13 for RH and 11 for RH, Building up from 5 reps at lowest levels mms or wider, to 1-2 reps mms at highest levels.

Evening: Torque fun. Two attempts at a G5 bolt, rated for 166.3kg@6"

First went to 29degrees, second to 38degrees. Well, almost a full bend.... :)

Hahaha I like those kids! That's so familiair, I once was lying on my bench doing max efforts and than my youngest daughter walked in, farted and started to laugh....next thing I knew was that the barbell was almost lying on my neck  Don't you love them. Every time I watch a gripvideo that shows no face, my oldest daughter asks 'is that you daddy?'

Discovered something today.

I weighed my blocks on an accurate scale: 17.4kg, 19.6kg and 24.6kg!

Discovered that my 30kg is a 25kg blob!? Somehow I convinced myself that my ordered 25kg (checked it) was a 30kg on the way.

Quite silly. Anyhow, my goal for lifting the heavy one, all of a sudden became 5kg easier now!

Decided to take some rest until sunday.

Anyway, my RH felt quite well when I came home from work, so decided to go for a one shot. Shortest warm up possible (just squeezing this thing a few times till halfway)

Getting closer on this 30mm blockset!
