Goobers 3rd birthday so time was tight. Did some heavy ice/snow shovel WOD, then stomped off 3-4” of ice off of about 15 steps and a landing at goobers.

I wish! This looks like a great year to be back. Unfortunately it’s happening at basically the same time as my Spring Clench comp. I think this is its 4th year now.

Thanks! It’s one I made back in 2011 after discussing with Aaron. It’s 2” x 5”. I tagged you on a Facebook pic of it.

Started working out and got a few sets into my front squats and I called it. A few sessions of shovel WOD today already too. Just hit by the blerch so I’ll have to do a combined session tomorrow.

W5 Deads. Low back still pumped from squatting on Wednesday. Wearing my new Nano 2.0’s. Feel good. Large toe box. Also trying some Vikn chalk. So far, so good. Might edge out FrictionLabs and Spider Chalk. 
 
Harness Front Squat wu to 117k x 2 x 5r
 
Deadlift wu to 430 x 5 x 3r
 
MYO Bodyweight Row-Feet Up 10-3-3-3-3-2-2
 
DO Thumbless BB Holds
120/140/150k x 6s - not a good day for these.

Afternoon 

Week 7. To lazy to set up the Saxon Bar. Set up originally with the Flask but terminated after a couple of singles of 78.05k. The width wasn’t feeling good at all. Brought out the Euro and it felt really good but I was losing hide on every heavyish set. Need to get training it again to toughen up for the comp. Next week with the dips I’ll start with just triples I think and work at 6 sets. Took 15 second (watch timed) rests.

Luke has let me borrow his Euro.  I'll finally get to train on one for the first time.  There will be lots of blood shed and skin lost on these delicate mittens of mine.  😄

I’ve got a few weeks to toughen my hide up, how about you? I was also experimenting with chalk; FrictionLabs and Vikn.
