I like to keep in the habit ;) haha  I'm prepping for mn state, jordan, south dakotas strongest man, and maybe the winkler depending on the events.  Then in sept there might be a comp in rochester before nationals I'll try!!

MN State Strongman Championship Write up place saver

Overall 1st

 

490 x 80ft there & 80ft back Frame Carry - 1st (18.09 sec to complete)

225 in 60 sec Log Clean Every Rep - 1st (did 7 for the win, was training for 12 reps)

Carry Drag Medley w/150 stone, 240 stone carried to and loaded to sled over 80ft - 2nd (someone is just better at drags than I)

650 100ft there & 100ft back Yoke Carry - 1st (only one to finish, no drops. 30.88 sec to complete)

275 Propane Tank Odd Object Max Distance Carry - 1st (did 276ft, it was very hard to balance)

 

Here is a vid of the log, more to come.  Needed 7 reps to win event

I always have someone give me a cadence, or give others a cadence when they're about to go, not necessarily because we need a cadence but because when people hear someone yell "competitor ready" they know not to stumble into the lane.

I even made sure to let the trainer in charge of the group there know that I was going, next time I'll have someone yell a cadence if that helps.

-lots of bicep pain, and they were contracting a little funny, but kept on
