Chez
Nice work Chez!! Will you be at Nationals this year? Good 'captains of eh.....crush' (0.50 mark) close hahaha Thanks guys. Unfortunately I can't do grip nationals this year because the axle is an event and my ankle isn't strong enough for that yet. (I missed it last year also). Training and ankle rehab are going great though. I plan on spending the year getting the ankle strong and making a come back next year. I was so suppose to update last weekend but it was a crazy busy weekend and I couldn't. I'm 7 workouts behind in the log. This weekend looks less busy so I'll make a major update this weekend. I'm peaking right now in grippers and plan to make an attempt on my grand elite soon (probably next weekend).
Chez
Just finished working out. I'm freaking tired so I'm going to relax a little bit and then update all the workouts I haven't included in the log. Today I achieved a brand new Ironmind hub PR of 66.2 lbs. Really happy about that. I hope I can hit 70 lbs by summer. Here is the video:

Chez
Tonight I finally went through with the Silvis handle experiment. I took the handles off my 213 lb rated MM8 replica (GE Spring) and put my Silvis Megalodon handles on it. Fit really good. I think this is going to be a great tool for training for higher MM certs:
Cannon
Didn't someone else make a Frankensilvis out of a Super Elite? I'm surprised it fits well on both springs. We are about to order from Silvis again. I wonder if we should stock some Megalodon handle pairs in case people want to buy just the handles for this mod.

I think its a great idea to sell the handles separate. The smaller silvis handles can be used for other grippers like the COC #3 etc. Imagine how many you could sell if guys could make an adjustable COC #3. Josh O'Dell
I was just wondering how to take a coc apart, i think there glued. I have Taken a hg apart in a vice by twisting the spring out.

It has been posted in a old thread. you can find it if you search old posts. I think they used something to break down the glue. I can't remember. slazbob
I think it's a lot to take coc handles off. With the Tettings it's easy. If it's the spread on the megladon that you're not happy with... Like Chez, then maybe it be worth it trying to get those handles off. Because the Tettings aren't going to give you a much better spread than the silvis. But don't let that bother you too much... You can tackle any gripper going up and down the spring. Good luck in your training, guys!

The SuperElite spring with the Megladon handles had a good 3in spread on a normal flush depth setting and a little over 3in on the lighter depth settings. Chez
Not logging tonight, but I trained grippers tonight and felt very strong. Destroyed my MM5 Replica for 3 straight singles with relative ease. Felt the handles smack together every time. Didn't have to get hyped up or anything. Peaking nicely.

Chez
Gave my Lighter MM3 Replica (176.05 lbs RGC) a shot MMS Off Hand tonight and I missed by literally the width of a piece of paper. That really stings. Would have been a nice PR Off Hand. Here is the attempt: This goes down if I have someone film and do it on the weekend instead of a week day after a long day at work.

benjaminBoy
Chez- Couldn't you find a wide gripper and take the handles off to use the adj handles on that spring? But it would have to be the right thickness. thanks for the idea slaz works like a charm with my SM and Silvis triceratop
