Great shoulder and pinch workout today. Getting stronger. love the momentum.

Standing Barbell Overhead Press

4 warm ups

205 lbs - 10 sets of triples. Starting to get heavy on those couple sets but every rep moved well. got a good shot at 210 for the same volume next week but it will be hard.

Rope Triceps Pull Downs

80 lbs - 4 sets of 15x. wanted to go lighter and get more volume. Elbow has been sore hear and there so I wanted to pump blood into the area.

Machine Rear Laterals

130 lbs - 10x

140 lbs - 10x

150 lbs - 10x

Seated Dumbbell Side Laterals

25 lb DBs - 3 sets of 10x

Flask One Hand Pinch

several warm ups

78.5 lbs - 3 singles each hand. Dominated. Nice. Only a hard single last week. making progress

68.5 lbs - 3 doubles each hand

58.5 lbs - 3 triples each hand

58.5 lbs - 3 singles with 10 second holds

Sorinex 4" Pinch Block One Hand Pinch

warm ups

53 lbs - 3 singles each hand

48 lbs - 3 doubles each hand

43 lbs -  3 triples each hand

Amazing session today but I am super tired. I cut the session short because I was just exhausted but here is what I did:

Barbell Back Squats

2 warm ups

185 lbs - 8x

215 lbs - 8x

245 lbs - 8x

275 lbs - 8x

Lat Pull Downs

150 lbs - 8x

170 lbs - 8x

190 lbs - 8x

210 lbs - 8x

Seated Close Grip Cable Rows

150 lbs - 8x

170 lbs - 8x

190 lbs - 8x

210 lbs - 8x

Right Hand MMS Grippers

Several warms up during squats

194.5 lb RGC Super Elite - Closed for a Single. I felt the handles smash together. We got video of it but I didn't like the lighting. It had a shadow on the close so I told my friend to video my second attempt. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a demanding perfectionist. Just ok video isn't good enough for me.

194.5 lb RGC Super Elite - Closed for a Single and this time we got good video. Stood in a spot with better lighting. See below for the video and still of the close.

186 lb RGC MM3 - Good Single. The last two singles with the SE took a lot out of me cause I had to hold the closes for a long time to ensure we got a good still and that really drained my power.

174 lb RGC RB 280 - 3 doubles

165 lb RGC Elite - 3 triples

160 lb MM1 - 3 sets of 4x

RBA Right Hand Negatives

Level 4.5 - Hold for 10 seconds

Level 5 - Hold for 10 seconds

Level 5.5 - Hold for 10 seconds

- Easy stuff. Upping the negatives next session. I am being cautious with them to start so I am doing a slow ramp up.

Just bought these off a friend on the gripboard. I always plan ahead. Its going to be a great year. I am so motivated and focused right now, its scary. Lets Go!

Pretty grippers. The 203 looks like a Beef Builder, and what's the other one?

Yep, the 203 is a tetting (AKA beef builder) super elite and the 200 is a ronnie coleman which is a lesser known brand but sometimes you need those to fill hard to find gaps.

You will buddy, just keep your eyes open. It took me a very long time to collect all the grippers I needed for a gradual ramp up and I was always looking ahead so when something came up that I wasn't ready for yet, I snatched it up cause I always planned on going this far.

Do you find that a lot of chest work helps with setting heavy grippers?

yep, and my grip is strongest when my whole body is strong. To set a 200 lb gripper fast and efficient you need upper body power.

So cannon power works just emailed me. I asked for a filed silvis megalodon gripper and I asked them to rate it flush mount and then throw in as many ratings as he could do and this is what they got: 220, 210, 200 then 185 and they said I should be able to eyeball ratings in between of 215, 205 and 193. And they said they can probably add two more ratings!

With this, the other grippers I just bought and the other adjustables I had made which I plan on having rated at intervals, I have all the tools I need to get to the MM8. Its on me now to train my ass off and everyone know I can do that. No excuses.

This is going to be a great year, Its on!

I got two more increments on there, 175 and 165. To clarify on the "eyeballing" it's just that half way between increments will be essentially half way between the ratings. At least as it relates to training.
