No chalk Actually though I have this stuff out on our land and used to 'play with'most of it.i have now put the 'event'like training behind me(for now)to focus on core power, building mass, adding bodyweight, boosting my partial dead, power clean, push press and heavy dumbell work AND Grip specialization. The only 'event'like training I do for now is the farmers walk at least 3 times a month, which i have been doing with the sme weight for years. Gaza?what do you do with the 800lb demolition ball? What are it's dimensions?and Holy Crap a 3.5 inch lifting bar! Damn nice of you to donate that stuff.
gazza
Tom Looks like ya got a lot of good gear yourself,i,m loolin to add a couple a tires, sled, yoke.atlas stones and a lot more oly plates. The 800lbs Wrecking/demo ball,is a permanent fixture to the floor at the moment,i aint strong enough to even partial deadlift it at the moment, but i will oneday the reason i gave all me bodybuilding gear away to Tony Holland was that i got very disallusioned with bodybuiding, realizing that i couldn,t get as big as i wanted without the juice my best friend and training partner at the time was into the steriods big time, and was mixing this with coke at the weekends, anyways to cut along story short ended up he Dave killing his baby and wife and then hanging himself!!! I didn,t train for 3years and then decided that i wanted somethin else so got into the grip/strongman stuff,so i thought what do i do with all this gear bodybuilding,i then went to a works meeting one day and came across Tony Holland and we got chatting about charities and things,so there you have it!!! My wife thinks that im a scrap metal merchant at heart, the bottom of the back garden does look like a scrapyard tho,but us boys must have are toys!!! Roark
Tom, Will you please list the dimensions of the 400 lb anvil? Gazza, Have you tried a hand and thigh lift with the wrecking ball? Build a short platform over it, hook a chain with a T-handle and start pulling! Do you have the dimensions for the wrecking ball? I returned from Columbus with three thick bars which were presents from Kim Wood (he should list me as a charity on his taxes!). The magnificent bars were crafted by Tom Grace as part of his Black Iron product line. Each bar is approx 6'4" long and the handle diameters are 1.37, 1.75, and 2.3 inches, knurled, grip-space marked and beautiful, and I use that term in the sense that only you guys can understand! Tom of Iowa2
Roark, I've measured it before and I'm pretty sure it was 37 or 38 inches long and about 14 inches high,Less than a foot across.Memory might be off...I think it was forged in germany. I'll remeasure it though next time i go out.Its our neighbors grandads and it is supposedly quite valuable.it weighs well OVER 400lbs.They have a 250 too...but they keep it on their land. Gaza, Big tires(used) are EZ to get around here. You just have to promise the Tire shop or heavy equipment dealer that you will NOT try to bring it back...as there is a disposal fee. The used ones are tougher than the new ones you see on WSM(to flip) as the tread is worn. Also the gym i work out has a lot of other stuff. Not trying to be a copy cat but Josh just welded us up a new 2 Plus inch,7 ft. 2in thick bar.Today. J.Yako, the concrete contractor-went to the snowman with Josh and works out with us- is going to get around to making us Actual Atlas stones...he said he 'wastes'enough concrete in a week to make us everything from a 175 on up to a 500 pounder.A 500 pounder? Why not??if its free...
