RichAZ - I don't know if you happened to have noticed this yet, but I took your CoC data for 1,2,2.5,3,3.5,4 and plotted the 'actual' that you measured versus what IM rates them for. I then put a tre

I've been thinking about this, and I'm guessing the reason for the 0.56 slope is that they are probably assuming that the hand closing the gripper exerts the vector of force about maybe half way up th

I have some results from calibrating Joe's RB grippers Not sure were to put them but wanted to share so I dug this old thread up. RB 70=54.8 100=60.4 130=95.5 160=109.7 180=119.4 210N=116.1 2

I just got my 7 rated at 151. I know the sample size is still very small but so far they have been incredibly consistent.

#3=154.0

GM=140.7(extended handle)

SE=183.9&184.4 (Extended handle) Did this one twice because it was a lot lower than I expected.

The GHPs are remarkably consistent with exception to my easy 8 and rough 9.

1=47.5,,,48.5

2=62.9,,,63.7

3=87.2,,,88.7,,,86.3

9=217.0,,,226..3,,,218.8

10=268.9

I really need to learn how to use excel. This list comparison I do is kind of cumbersome. I could also do averages automatically.

I would like to put these up on the RGC on the gripper superstore but I don’t know if it will still be around when the store completely closes.

Any one want some grippers called just PM me. I enjoy this for some reason. I like to cal grippers in-between sets of my gripper work outs.

how about this one - it goes to 300kg => http://www.ebay.com....#ht_3162wt_1344

a bit dearer but this goes to 500kg => http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_3101wt_1172

Good prices, but these scales without weight accumulation function! :(

For weight accumulation use a simple 4 functions calculator to do the sums... ?

Why would a weight accumulation funtion be usefull? Don't you just want the end weight tclose the gripper handle?

Because calibration takes time and scale is locked after few seconds!

This looks cool! Nice one! Btw, curious for the results in measuring that gold spring! Only found one calibration on Kilkkinen's site.

Wonder how yours will come out.

Quite the jump between level 17 and level 18

And I believe you mean Heiskanen if you are talking about Matti's rating results, Geralt.

Yes, it's this link:

So there definitely is difference between the springs. Not that I didn't expect that but it's always nice to see and compare.

Ok. back to the thread. Sorry! :shutup:

Nice setup! I bet if you re-calibrate that spring you will find the tension went down about three levels, unless you already broke it in at level 24. Give it a try.

I do this calibration about 2 years ago, I think today calibration numbers lower!
