Do my grip trainings from 2015 and fall in love at this kind of sport. My targets are to lift a Blob more that 30 kg(recently did 29 kg), to lift Inch dumbbell... but the most difficult is to do a Silver Bullet in GHP 10. Ready to share knowledges with everyone and learn something new. On 8/29/2018 at 12:20 PM, Lennix said: Hello! My name is Thom and I'm 26 years old. Im 192cm and 114kg as of now but been stable at 125kg before diet. Started with strongliftinspired training 2 years ago and got challanged by a guy to do thumbless deadlift and I did 210kg my second try so I got interested in grip training. Bought my first gripper 4 months ago a coc#2, closed it in my second try. I closed the #3 on my first try 6 days ago and now I want to get certified so thought I would register here to learn more! Of course I train with grippers (training time - about 6 month, my current results: CoC2,5 - 1 time with card, 2 times - with parallel, CoC3 - still have 3mm gap). Also I collect hand grippers (for now I have about 30 items). Thanks for getting me in group! Welcome! And those are some nice results so far! Keep on gripping! And doing quantum physics (or not lol).

So I have started some grip specific training, and really enjoy it. Maybe it's because my grip strength is so bad, but seeing and reading the grip strength feats on here has gotten me hooked on improving my grip. Right now is kind of competition season for me so easing into grip training and focusing on support and pinch grip. I do have a set of HG100-300 grippers that i bought probably 10+ years ago, and have a CoC #2 and GHP 6 from CPW on the way. No big goals for me, just plan on steadily improving and enjoying the training. On 9/7/2018 at 8:49 AM, Yuri Mikhnovets said: Hello everyone! My name is Yuri. I'm 29 , 188 cm height, 80kg weight. Always trained with a gripper and had decent crushing grip but now I'm interested in beefening up my forearms as I see it as the most masculine and important muscle in the body, probably next to shoulders and lats. I actually tried to sign up with this forum a decade ago.. lol, must not have gotten approved and forgot about it. Look forward to making some progress and hopefully sharing before/after pics. 8 hours ago, JoeMcE said: Hey all thanks for accepting me. My name is Joe I am newly back to gripping. Started over 10 yrs ago..bought some grippers and the KTA and was crushed by the routine and lost focus. Now I an back, dug out my old gripprers bought some new half step ones and am,reenergized. I'm 5'10 185 55 years old and currently , after some reconditioning, I can rep the #1.5 a few times and when I'm fresh on a good day I can close the #2. Here to learn and grow and hopefully close #3 by my 60th b'day. Welcome guys!

Mr_Crusher 1 Posted September 17, 2018 Hi Everyone, I train strongman and got bitten by the grip bug, my grip training currently consists of: · Crush strength training with COC and GHP grippers (Current Gripper: COC#2*2 reps). · Rock climbing / hang boarding once to twice a week. · Farmers Walk. My training isn’t very structured but I’m looking into starting the RRBT program and getting a rolling deadlift handle for open hand crushing strength, my short-term goal is to close the COC#2.5 for eight reps and my lifetime goal is to close a COC#4.

connorkautz 1 Posted September 20, 2018 (edited) Hey! My name is Connor. I live in Georgia, USA. I'm 22, 5' 11" and 185lb. Hands are pretty average. I've been interested in grip since I was in middle school, and have worked with a pair of 150 and 200 BoneCrushers on and off since then. I also worked at a greenhouse for a year and my pinch grip was constantly worked until failure. I broke my right(D) hand a year ago, and am working on seriously rehabilitating it starting about 3 weeks ago. I finally got back to closing the 200 a few days ago, and can do it fairly easily now. I'll be getting a few Arm Assassin pieces ordered soon, and have an axle bar in route. Hopefully I can close the 2.5 soon. Perryfamily208 4 Posted September 30, 2018 Hey I'm Sean I'm 30 and 6' 200lb I've been lurking this site for along time and just got around to signing up. I've been lifting for a few years, mostly modern strongman and oldtime, also I'm working towards highland games events. My grip adventure started by accident 2 yrs ago and found I had a talent for it and love it. Now I just started bending and did my first horseshoes a few weeks ago. Next I'm going to try some long bar bending. Also I had a hand sprain question and wasn't sure we're to post it?

devinhoo 104 Posted October 10, 2018 Hello! My name is Devin and I've been rock climbing for about 4 years now—mostly bouldering—and got up to to V9 before I moved more towards powerlifting (finally got my total to 1000 lbs). Over the past year I've moved more into strongman and grip work. Right now I train my grip 4x a week; Rolling Thunder Monday, 90 mm wood pinch block Wednesday (after deadlifting 🤙🏻), Dinnie Stones Friday, and Farmer's Walks Saturday. Someday hoping to compete in Strongman and maybe a grip competition. Totally inspired by hanging out with Clay Edgin over the summer, and now I want to lift the Blob and the Thomas Inch. Long term goals are to plate pinch two 45's and to lift the *real* Dinnie Stones.

2sweetdadstrength 31 Posted October 23, 2018 Hi all, My name is Richard, and I'm a novice grip lifter from Kentucky. I've been specifically training grip for around a year. I will be competing at King Kong in Nashville this weekend, so I'm excited to do my first competition ever and to meet the other competitors! I have never used any of the specific implements for the competition so I have no idea how I will do, which is kind of fun. I was unaware that grip sport was even a thing until a few months ago, aside from the Iron Mind certifications. I post training videos regularly on Instagram under this same username (2sweetdadstrength) and probably already follow a lot of the people here. Current best lifts are one-handed Blockbuster ~56 lbs, Rolling Thunder ~135 (just got it a few weeks ago), and almost closing a CoC #2. Nothing too crazy, but I'm making steady progress. I just keep grinding and trying to get better!
