Guest Bullitt
You're wellcome!Sam and Frank, you both seem to need tons of super clue (speaking of the single events) I'm waiting to see Aaron's & Sam's hands after they go for the BBE mark. Not sure if the better knurling will help or rip skin even worse. Did it bother your skin much Frank? I actually found it to be easier on the skin, since it doesn't slide as much as CoC knurling. Not repping my BBE yet, but I may have to give it a try on MM2 setting. After Monday. Must not grip again until after MM1. Must.. not... grip...... agai....... Guest Bullitt
Did something a little crazy on Sunday. I have been doing Wannagrip's experimental grip program (RRBT), but I didn't have all my grippers with me because we were traveling (just my #3 and a pony clamp). So on a whim, I thought I would see how many times i could close my #3 throughout the day. Did mostly singles, doubles and triples. All the reps were MMS. This is an easy #3. Definitely not 150#. Started at 10AM and did a bunch here and there. Any time my skin started to get real sore I would stop. Many of them were done in the car, on the drive from Cincy back to Maryland. My skin started hurting too bad to go on at 11PM that night on my 100th rep. Plus my wife was getting a little upset at me for driving with my knees through the WV mountains at night. Just wondered if anyone out there has tried anything like this masochistic experiment? If anyone is interested, we could add number of reps in a day on a #3 or higher as a category in this thread. If not, we can just chalk it up to me being out of my mind. I would be interested to know if there are any other crazy people out there that have tried something like this. Jeff Parker
Before I closed my 3 I did this with my 2.5 The limiting factor was skin tearing. It was a great workout but I did strain my right index finger. I will do it again with my smooth handled adjustable gripper so my skin will not be a problem. Nice going on the 100 reps on the 3! That is some dedication!

I did 150+ TNS singles over the course of a long workout with a 146lb #3 back in 2005, shortly before getting certified on the #3. Did a few workouts in the 300 MMS reps range too. bencrush
Haha, it's an easy one guys! That sick volume did the trick though. If I was still working in the jail (12-hour midnight shifts) I would've stormed through the MM3 and beyond by now. I do miss having all that free time to train...
