Jonathan McMillan
Amaury, Without looking at the program I'm sold on the KTA already...alas I don't have the technology available (ie. my computer is from the stone age) to make purchasing worthwhile. amaury
Great Jonathan !! Don't wait anymore, you deserve to join the #2 closers list. Go for the #3 !
Jonathan McMillan
Thanks Amaury!! When I can do it consistently and frequently enough to get a photo then I switch lists. I didn't get to any wire cutting today as I spent the day with a jack hammer in my basement instead, funny enough my upper forearm near the elbow cramped up on both arms. Also, my wrists were sore from using the tool at awkward angles with poor leverage but other then that I feel great. The vibration actually seemed to help with some tendon irritation near my elbows. amaury
Johnathan have you already tried a max attempt on the ISG ? If so i would be interested in the result. IMHO you don't work enough with the #3 Train hard Amaury.
Jonathan McMillan
Thanks for the advice Amaury!! I hope to get more use of the #3 soon. It's taken me quite some time to be able to even force shut it against my leg. I purchased some SOS grippers and just got my hands on them yesterday so I'll be working these into the training as well. The last time I tried a max attempt on the ISG I hit 200 and I haven't repeated that performance since. Give me a week or two and I'll give it a try again. Jonathan McMillan
Friday was my medium Coc training day. Usually this is the day I focus on strapholds with my #1 but it didn't pan out. Here's how it went down. First of all I brought my Lemley gripper into work to show off one of my new toys. I got it earlier in the week and found the wide handle spread and thick spring quite a challenge. I was happy to finally shut it at work against my leg a few times with my left hand. At home I went to it: T: x1 #1: x1 #2: x1 left, right needed assistance to fully shut (this is so weird my hands have switched dominence in the grippers again) SOS grippers: x1 with the easy one, assisted shut against my leg with the other two. #1SH@2.25lbs: x8count, x8count, x0 failed. SOS grippers: x1, x1, x1 with the easier one feels like a 1.5 to me although it's suppose to be a slightly heavier gauge then the ideal #2. ISG@230 negative: x1 Claw curl: 25x10, 50x10, x9, x7 So the straps didn't amount ot much but the rest of the work felt solid.
