SSB Paused Box Squats up to 315 x 3

Zercher squats up to 275 x 1 pretty easy but painful

Band pull throughs up to 2 Efts light bands x 20 (feel the burn!)

Yates rows: 2 x 20 at 135 lbs

Band curls

I believe set these up right at parallel but I'll let judge @EricMilfeld give them white or red.

IPF legal all the way! Nice set!

Good day yesterday.   Feeling it today.  It was really fun to be actually competing with Jedd and Luke on the lifts.  Usually I'm done with my attempts before they start warming up.  Lol.  Guess train

Another Awesome day yesterday at NAGS.  Other than I just can't figure out 2HP to save my life.  🤷‍♂️ Silver Bullet: Got about 1.5 seconds with a 205 lb #4, which I think was 2nd overall.  Distan

I hate @EricMilfeld for putting the idea of 20 rep squats in my head.  No seriously. Fork you old man Milfeld!   SSB Box Squats with Elitefts Pro Light Bands.  Add ~ 50 at bottom and 95 at top. A

Thanks Eric.  Still not a ton of weight, but moving in the right direction.   Momentum as you say!

Yesterday: played outside with boy for a couple hours, then the family took a 1.5 mile walk in the woods.

Shoulders pretty tender after this workout.  Going to take a week off the bench, then make my run at 300.

Bench:

260 X 1 (Post Injury PR)

225 X 6 (PI PR)

RED SS: 225 X 10 (PI PR)

MDSS: 225 X 10 (I was toast at this point)

Band curls and rotator cuff work.

Well, I hadn't weighed in for about 3 weeks.  Ooops.  Back at it ...tomorrow.   🤣

258 today.  Still down 22, but going the wrong way.  Good news is, it doesn't seem to be a lot of fat.

Felt ridiculously strong ( for me ) today after a week off benching:

275 x 2 raw

300 x 4 MDSS

225 x 9 raw

Then rotator cuff work and band triceps press downs.

Strong double. Noob gains. 😆

Yea, muscle memory is a beautiful thing.  Haha

Unfortunately, I'm now back to where I was right before I tore my elbow.  So we'll see how it goes from here.  I'd just like to get 300 one more time before the Covid gets me. 😷🤧🤒😵

Today:  started to squat.  Right knee was hurting for some reason.   Took a walk in woods with family instead.  Way more fun.

Boy's face looks nice

End of a wave today.  Worked up to a max single bench and close to max single deadlift.  Now back to some rep work for awhile.
