Mike Rinderle
I've had a cold for 3 days. Knew I should have switched to Modello or Dos Equis. But benched this am. 240 single (post injury PR) then 5 reps with: 200, 195, 190, & 185. Didn't feel strong, but progress. Finished up with band curls.

Mike Rinderle
First squatting since I got the plague. Lungs aren't 100% so I kept reps low. Worked on scapular, shoulder, ankle, and hip mobility for about 15 minutes prior to workout. Really helped. Who woulda thunk it? Straight bar back squats: up to single with 315 Axle deads: worked up to single with 440 90° pullup holds: 3 x 10 seconds Band face pulls High and low band curls
Mike Rinderle
Hike with family down to the river flats and back on a new trail. Very enjoyable. My son now thinks daddy is the strongest man in the world because I pushed over a rotten tree. So I got that goin for me.

I have been meaning to try those, but I'm still improving with the oly bar. It was pretty cool. Basically turns it into a two part exercise, kind of a low skull crusher with a press at the end, where a traditional one is more of a blend, but I actually think I liked this more. Felt it more in the triceps.
Mike Rinderle
Yesterday the boy and I hiked a new trail near our house. The pace is slow, but man do we have fun exploring together. Found an old car graveyard, which he thought was exceedingly cool. Lol

Mike Rinderle
Well, I hadn't weighed in for about 3 weeks. Ooops. Back at it ...tomorrow. 258 today. Still down 22, but going the wrong way. Good news is, it doesn't seem to be a lot of fat.
