Looked great bro! Powerful!

Power belly for the win!  Always good for an extra plate a side.

It was a slab o beef.  Lol.  Wish I could find that so I could show Saw someday that his old man had some muscle at one point. 😂

I’m sure the missus has it stashed away in her “private” album.

Some DOT axle.  Nothing noteworthy.

3" pinch up to 100.4.  PR

Was looking back at some old vids from 5-6 years ago. Mostly old bends, but came across this.  Something to be said for being large.  I miss being strong n SWOLE.  Now I'm just weak n old.  Lol

Great video and impressive DL. Someday post some bending videos those are cool to watch.

Been taking a few days off.  Nasty bronchitis was my gift this Christmas.

Decided to go out and play today.

Worked up to 420 on the 2" NN - PR.  Used the short pin.

Then some light pinch and vbar work.

Went to doc yesterday.  Pneumonia. But at least they caught it early this time so I get to skip the one week in the hospital like the last two times.

So... did a very short workout today. 😜

2" NN up to 425 (PR)

Stupid but satisfying. Lol

Nasty stuff. Put me in the hospital when I was 2.  Get well quick!

And just now was the first time I’ve seen your 600 pull. You looked big and mean, Mike! Strong lift!

That’s back when I weighed 180. 😀

But you’re still pulling over 5 and I think you can keep climbing...

I don't know buddy.  I'm hovering right around 5 now (maybe less).  I hit a wall at 530 earlier this year and just couldn't seem to push through it.  Don't think I'll ever get within spitting distance of 600 again.  I may just have to live vicariously through you!

This puts a lot of pressure on me. I’ll try and live up to the challenge, but I may do the same and live vicariously through your grip feats!

Good day.  Not great, but good.

Worked up to 410 x 3 on 2" NN.  Was so tired from that effort that I missed 430.  Next time.

Switched to using the blockbuster clone I have for pinch training.  Will be contesting that in a comp Feb 16 and I want to get used to the rounded edges.  Makes it harder than the other 3" block I have which has much sharper edges.

I was pretty beat from the NN and ended up getting several partial lifts with 90.  One I got all the way but lost it at top.  I think I'm good for 90-93 fresh, which is about 10 below where I am on the other block.  Need to get this dialed in a little better so I can give Jedd and Luke a run for their money next month on the BB.

2" V-bar:  Only went up to 250.  It aggravates my shoulder if I go super heavy.

Then more training for the blockbuster: Got 90 pretty easy.  Couldn't quite get 92.4 totally to lockout. Here's the 90 plus the best of my 5 not quite good enough attempts at 92.4.

Yesterday:

2 3/8 NN up to 360.  PR

A bunch of different lifts with Jedd's half a hundy hex block.  Even cleaned it once.

Today: Snow shoveling and playing.
