11. 3” DB - 120-150 range (full dead lift)

12. IM Apollon’s Axel - 375-400 range (full dead lift)

13. (2) 7” IM Red Nails

14. Phone Book (vertical tear)

15. RT (it will be the new IM handle) – wt TBA (full dead lift)

16. IM Little Big Horn on IM loading pin - wt TBA (full dead lift)

17. Fat Bastard Bomb on IM loading pin – wt TBA (full dead lift)

18. 411# Dinnie Replica (full dead lift)

19. Narrow Hub 45 (full dead lift)

20. TBA

You can go in any order you want...and mix it up. You will have 4 minutes. Most objects win.

****There will be 1 more TBA…but this will give you the idea. Also, there will not be anything in the medley that I cannot pick up on a good day…if this helps.

****Also, I will be using strongman scoring for the entire contest.

****Also Sumo on the AA is allowed.

Sumo - sweet!! Some of the medley weights, while I am capable, are on the heavy side. I'm thinking that more than a few will not make it even half way down the list.

You've got the phone book in there. I think #20 would be nicely filled with a deck of cards.

Half? I'm trying to find even a couple I can do :blush . I do have a couple questions Chad - I'm going to have to train as specific as I can so if I may?

1. 2HP - 215-225 range (full dead lift) – set at what thickness? It will make a difference for sure.

14. Phone Book (vertical tear) – approximate thickness?

18. 411# Dinnie Replica (full dead lift) – when I think Dinnie Replica, I think of two rings and a straddle lift like lifting the actual stones but at 411#, I think a one handed ring lift is more likely - on the big or little ring? – The rings are different heights - which height?

I don't figure I'll lift many of them but what a great medley set up!

It's more or less a decent contest in it's own right - lifts on the level of a 225lb pinch, 400lbs on the Axle etc will get you a pretty decent placing in any Grip Comp there's ever been.

I could be wrong but I think some records will be broken at this

comp.

We'll see!

EVENT RULES

* Grippers - (calibrated) parallel set / Strong hand only / 4 max attempts

* IM Rolling Thunder - (old seasoned handle) Strong hand only / 4 max attempts

(must be pulled to a full dead lift with down signal and lower weight under control)

(Rising bar will be used)

* IM Apollon’s Axel – Double Overhand (conventional style or Sumo) 4 max attempts

(must be pulled to a full dead lift with down signal and lower weight under control)

(Rising bar will be used)

* 2 Hand Pinch – Euro pinch / 4 max attempts (44,54,64 MM widths used only)

(must be pulled to height of 16.5” crossbar and lowered under control, double over grip only and hands no more than 3” apart)

(Rising bar will be used)

* 2” Vertical Bar - (FBBC bar will be used) – Strong hand only / 4 max attempts

(hand placed no more than 2” from top of bar)

(must be pulled to a FULL DEAD LIFT and lowered under control) (the full dead will be easier to judge and MORE impressive of a lift for spectators). No skin will tear with this bar...so no worries. I have thought and thought about this...and those that are good on vbar will have no problems with the full dead.

(Rising bar will be used)

* Medley (1 run thru only) – will include 20 or more items (pinch, thick bar, bending, tearing)

(There will be a 4 minute time limit)

Most objects win!

Plenty of time to train...no more changes to be made at this time...get to TRAINING!

I like the full deadlift on the vbar. It just makes sense.

I think it looks TONS more impressive than just 2 inches...thanks Andrew.

But quite a bit more difficult to judge.

Not really...I have already tried it. You pick it up full...and then get a down signal and put it down. The arm that you use to pull...that shoulder will be a little forward...but everything else is fairly upright.

Well, I'm impressed that you managed to pull it to full lockout without

1) Banging the bar into your unmentionables

and

2) Being able to press the fingers against the leg at the top.

I wouldn't say that I "can't stand it", but I do prefer the full deadlift myself.
