I guess I'm the first one to report back after the comp, and what a great grip comp it was! :D

Chad won with Steve coming in runner-up. The way it was going between Chad and Steve, it was like a clash of the Titans!! :cool

I came in during the 2HP event. There were a LOT of people there cheering on the competitors, and of course I was no exception.

The guy who probably impressed me the most was Chris Rice! What a mofo effort he gave; it was awe-inspiring to me (I should have told him that while I had the chance to talk to him, but he don't need a bigger head than he already has! ;) )

I took a lot of pics and I'll post them up as soon as I can. Overall, a fantastic grip comp - Chad really outdid himself and should be very, very proud. Great job, Chad!!!! :)

It was an incredibly smooth and well run comp.

Going into the final event - the Medley- Chad had 7 points, Steve had 9 I believe.

This competition could have gone either way.

Great show.

I heard Steve just dominated the grippers and left little doubt as to who the top gripper guy in the world is. Congratulations man! :rock

I wish I could have afforded to miss the two days of work required to make it. Sounds like I missed quite a show!

I heard Andrew pulled a 461 axle for a world record! And my buddy Ryan got a 252 Rolling Thunder!

Man what a "Strong" group of 11 men :rock :rock :rock

Yes, Steve is the King on the grippers :bow He closed my 205 #4 easily :rock I was glad he made the trip to Athens, GA...He is a "Top Notch" grip guy and truly wants this sport to move forward. Very STRONG competitor :rock

Andrew broke is own AA WR :rock

We ALL hit PR's.

Steve won $600 and Andrew won $400...not bad for 5 hours of work :rock

It was great seeing all my friends again...and I hope we can do it again next year.

BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE SPONSORS...COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU. :rock :rock :rock

I will write more later and post event scores.

Thanks again for ALL you guys showing up with your "A" game and putting on a nice display of strength for around 100 spectators :rock
