twig
I measured the inside, cos I figured the outside measurement has very little to do with moving weight, outside measurement is 12 1/4"
Pancake Sprawl
Thats also how I measured. Man.. some of you have long forearms. im jealous. from your picture i see you have a long upper arm though which i think is better for what your doing, like a shoulder press. i have a rather short upper arm but a long forearm and it sometimes puts me in awkward positions even with just the slightest of muscle fatigue. it's a balancing act, for me anyway. I measured the inside, cos I figured the outside measurement has very little to do with moving weight, outside measurement is 12 1/4" this is how i figured it was measured, but i couldn't find my tape measure and only had this tape measure that the guys fit you with suits use. it's hard to do it by yourself unless you do it the other way. Guest Bonzi
Interesting website, http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2006/bodyproportions.shtml According to this website, albeit sample population seems to be small, my forearm to hand size is small. I have 10.5 inch forearms, measured like shown in diagram, and 8 inch hands. Wonder if this could be a determing factor to grip strength? Maybe I should start another thread. What do y'all think?
