I will freeze this list at the end of each calendar year, starting off the new year with the existing list as it stood at the end of the previous year.

A big thank you to Frankyboy for aligning the columns of the list for me after I went to bed in tears of computer illiteracy frustration!

The list is now updated with David Horne's 108 kilo lift performed at the British Grip Championships this year, as well as Steve Gardener's 99.3 kilo pinch lifted at The Peter Horne Memorial this year.

Nice lifting, mates!

Thanks for that Eric, I have been out in the bush for months but I am back to civilization now.

Great to have you back, Mikael! I was afraid you got eaten by a shark. But yes, if you would like your list back, that's fine. I think there's some things that could be discussed about it, but I have to run to Austin now for Thanksgiving dinner.

I just updated the list with David Horne's single event lift performed at the British Pinch Lift Championships. I noted it and Steve Gardener's lift with a double asterisk.

I've updated the list with the Gripmas Carol 2007 results. Travis Alcorn and I are now ranked tenth, and Brad Ardrey and Nick Rosendaul have now made the list. Congratulations, guys!

Eric - you were too quick for me - I sent you a PM about the results so you can post the actual weights.

Didn't Anson make it? I think he pinched close to or maybe even over BW.

My fault, Chris. I mistakenly thought the called weights at the contest were actual weights. I'll correct it.

Thanks, Bob, but he actually pulled just a tad more at a previous contest.

Congrats to Raymond on making the list! The 82.2 kg for Raymond was EASY!... he just ran out of lifts on the day... more experience with pinching wiill fix this. Have to say the 82.5kg ( 79kg actual calibrated weight) for my final lift was also a breeze... so looking forward to cracking list the next time!

I'm not sure it's necessary or how to really handle it but I'd like to see David and Steve's full contest lifts as well as their single event results.

I like denoting single lift events with two asterisks, but I could also add the lifter's best full contest lift off to the side if you guys like. Or I could add it just beneath the bottom of the list. I'm easy, too, on this. What do you guys prefer?

I'm just thinking of the workload. If you add single lift event lifts as well as all round event lifts you'll either have a massive list or several of us will appear a few times in the top 50 lifts list. David shortened the list and then created 2. One open and one single lift. While I AM proud of the 99.3-kilos I do appreciate the sentiments of an all round event being a truer test.

I've decided to make eligible for list inclusion calibrated lifts performed in competition on adjustable pinch devices that are essentially the same as the Euro Pinch. Scott George's device, for example, is so close in design and function to that of David Horne's Euro Pinch that it will provide essentially identical results on the lifting platform. The degree of rust present on the device would be more of a factor in performance than would the maker of the device in question.

I've updated the rules for the list accordingly.

Are you talking about the mouse that attaches to a loading pin, or does Scott make something else?

Jedd, I'm pretty sure he is talking about the full size 2HP Scott makes. I have one.

Aaron, your's is the bare metal version, right? I know that Scott has also offered a version coated in black at special request.
