carusom1
Chris- no, no, not thick handles, that would probably even be tough for bananna hand Brouse. These implements have a slightly thicker handle (1/8" at most) and are a little slick, torpedo style (lower pick). 030808 Seated DB Press: sets of 8 40,60,80,100,115,115,115 JM Press: sets of 7 95,105,115,125,135 worked out some technique on these Pull Down (narrow, neutral): sets of 8 205, 235, 250, 265 One Arm BB Curl: 3x8x45 Elliptical: 20 min. Matt Brouse
You spelled banana wrong. Also, do we want to vary up to higher rep stuff at all for the pressing? Or maybe do some rest-pause work until we can train medley's...?

Or maybe do some rest-pause work until we can train medley's...? I give you a bannanna, however its spelled... Yes, we should go back to that for the pressing. I think we have already been through about twelve weeks so time to start cycling back in a week or two; need to reconfiguring some max. 031008 Tweaked my leg during warm ups. Decided not to lift. carusom1
031508 Toke Friday off b/c Sat. was a combination of the two days for this expo Golds Gym deal; anyway... These will be more like highlights than a training session b/c of how it was set up. Yoke: 60ft 340, 430, 520, 680, 770 The 770 felt pretty quick and may have been the most I have done without a belt. Rolling Thunder: It was cold, dry and early in the day so I'm guessing that is where this came from. 142, 190(R only) very surprised I pulled this. I think the axle training is paying off Farmers: 100ftx1turn 130, 220, 280 More grip stuff including holding the blob up, tearing cards, ripping phonebooks, bar bending. Tire Flip: 2x3x650 8" Log Push Press: triples 145, 195, 245, 295, 330, 350 3" Axle DL: singles @ 180, 220,

Chris Mathison
Your workout-types are right up my alley Mike. I gotta get up there to train sometimes. Grats on the 190 RT. How long have you and Matty been doing this much axle work? If you are seeing results already think about 2 - 3 or 5 years from now. You will be a thickbar monster! carusom1
031908 BTNPP: doubles 135, 185, 225, 275, 315, 325, 335, 345, 365(1), 425(miss, miss) Shouldn't have gone for 425, shoulders and tri's were too tired. Doing the eccentric part of a double takes a lot of energy out, should have stuck with doubles instead of trying the singles . Dave maxed at 245 by getting it half way up, placing it on his head, then push pressing it up the rest of way ! Pull Down (narrow nuetral grip): sets of 8 235, 250, 265, 280 DB Push Press: 3x8x115 Pull Ups (wide): 2x5xbw Pull Down (wide): 2x5x280 Stretch
