Mike,

You'll be fine, it's not like you've been doing nothing with all those strongman comps.

I'll get details to you next week.

David

Would be interested in buying Euro pinch set up to train with at big Al's.

Thanks Mike

The list keeps on growing... and more on their way. Remember you will need to be a member to compete in any BHSA events. The first 30 get a copy of my e-book (Andy C has a copy so has donated his to member number 31).

I've had 4 signed disclaimers through the post this morning (as well at Pete's payment - cheers Pete). Please remember you ALL need to sign them and send them through. I'll use our funds to buy a decent folder etc.

Yesterday I:

  • purchased the domain name www.britishhandstrengthassociation.org.uk yesterday (it's now active). It will link to the BHSA pages on David's site for now.
  • Started work on a hand book - this will take some time and will always be a work in progress (as it ought to be).
  • Created a forum in case we need one at some point (so as to ensure the name etc is used / taken).

Will there be some specialised competitions? Like a hub lifting competition or a 2HP competition, i would be interested in those. Or maybe a competition based on grippers alone, it may not be that fun for the spectators but would be good for those of us that feel stronger in one event in particular and might give us inscentive to train and specialise for specific events, and who knows come up with a record.

David has suggest 'record days' and I'm gonna presume before checking that it could easily be 'bring a lift' (one of your choice) but a gripper or pinch only event does so ok.

Yes record days, and single event contests will be part of the BHSA. As Pete says these can be easy to train for.

David

GREAT!! :D:rock
