Forgot to show the gripper marking so I don't know if it will count, but here's a 20 second close with my right hand on a CoC#1

And here's 20 seconds with my left hand on an HG150

Nothing special, but better than what I was expecting with how beat up my hands feel today. When I get my grippers back from Jedd next week I'll try it again and see what I can do.

So read this thread and had to run and find a penny haha.

My forearm and especially biceps are sore already from gym work, so much so my arm cant be straightened without bi tightness. But im not about to wait to do this...

41sec on my 2 right hand. When I feel good ill try the 3. I have done lots of holds for time over the yrs so used to it. Not with a penny though.

I didn't see any sort of official rules, but that would probably be a good addition. Any chance of linking new videos as yo update the list? I realize it's a bit more work, but would make things faster if I want to come in and see a bunch of vids in stead of scrolling through pages

Btw - is there an 'official' set of rules? I'm assuming a video is req'd. But I don't recall seeing anything in this thread stating as such.

I believe videos have not been previously required as this is a rather casual challenge compared to a cert. Nothing at stake other than your conscience and possibly credibility (for example: posting a 30s hold with a #3 and, elsewhere, a video of you just barely closing a #2.5 MMS). I personally find recording video of training sessions to be a bit of a nuisance so my vote would be to permit video-less submissions for simplicity.

Ok, I updated it with links (as available), and included the ones without vids or verification of gripper in the vids (since a gentleman's agreement was the initial premise of the thread). Speaking of which - where are the women? They should be cranking out some numbers here too!

Yep, no video required. There was also a discussion about how ratings should be treated. I believe it was decided that ANY time with a higher rating beats the lower rating. So 3 seconds with a 154 #3 beats 25 sec with a 152 #3. I didn't like that much, but that's the way it went. Finally, filed grippers or wide spreads or no set closes don't count for anything. Those would be self-imposed handicaps.

Did it stone cold. Fully warmed up I should have a shot at the number 1 spot among the #2 group. Yes, that was meant as a challenge.

Scratch that, got 29secs with the #2. A little disappointed to not break into the 30s. Next time...
