With no chalk and no warmup, I got the handles down to maybe less than 1/2" apart. This is my best documented effort yet on the #3! I'm giving it a matter of months before I close it. BTW, You got that #3 down any farther yet? I'm trying to use the harder grippers with the thick strap. Once they become easier, then I will use the same grippers with the thinner strap.
