But the #4 has much sharper knurling and doesn't have "***CoC***CoC" on the end stamp. So I was wondering, have I ended up with a 2005 #4 (it would have to be at least 2005 because of the GR8 spring) or have they always made the #4 a little different from the rest of their grippers? Depending on what gripper it is, you'll get what IronMind has on stock. For example, there are a lot more #4's than there will be Trainer grippers at any given point, because they sell a lot more Trainers than they would #4's. Chris is talking about the Coc markings on the bottom of the gripper handle where the numbers are stamped, not the band in the middle of the gripper handle.
