Martin_Arildsson
I also want to have a nice journal, just like mobsterone and DuTCH. So here it starts... 2006-06-07 Grippers: .............L/R CoC T 10/10 CoC T 10/10 CoC #1 10/10 CoC #2 5/5 CoC #3 1/1 BBSE 1/1 BBSE 1/1 BBSE close Steve thanks for sending the grippers in time I also toyed around a bit with a RB260C (some kind of narrow certification gripper). Two hand pinch (50mm width) - euro setup: 2x5 @ 21kg 2x3 @ 51 kg 1x3 @ 71 kg 3x5 @ 81 kg That really feels good in the joints... not I also did some tossing with one hand pinch. I used two 15kg plates... It didn't go that well, I could pass it a couple of times before I almost dropped it on my foot. I also did some easy squats, 5x5 @ 140 kg. Martin_Arildsson
Monday: Grippers, two hand pinch, maybe some dynamic thumbtraining. Tuesday: V-bar, different wrist exercises. Friday: Grippers, thickbar, 1hdl deadlift. Guess I got it all covered. I've never trained thickbar regulary, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to train it more often! And the one handed deadlift... I will only train it before contests, because I feel it collides with my deadlifting. And I do 3-5 working sets on each thing. I should think about some goals too.... I'll start with a couple of them. Grippers: -TNS RB330N -15 reps each hand with CoC #3 -#4 before 2007-12-31 Pinch: -3 or more reps at 100kg -110kg+ -One hand pinch 2x20kg -Lift that stupid blob V-Bar: -150kg+ both hands 1hdl: -130kg both hands Bending: -Red nail before 2007-12-31 And: -Have fun -Try to stay injury free
Martin_Arildsson
I forgot to mention that I usually train my fingerextensions with IM bands too, 1-2 times a week.

jimcg
And the one handed deadlift... I will only train it before contests, because I feel it collides with my deadlifting. Great fun that you started writing here as well! About the one hand deadlift not fitting into your schedule - how about doing the one handed deadlifts on your deadlift day. Stepping up to your one handed max weight will act as a warm-up for the usual ones. When you reach your one handed max, just continue with two hands. I've done that for a couple of workouts and it seems to work fine (at least for me). //Jim

I've been doing it together with my deadlifts, and I was a bit tired when it was time to hit some heavy deadlifts.

But what about thickbar? Don't have any direct goals for that, yet. My best overhand deadlift so far is 3 reps at 140kg with a 50mm bar. 160kg for five would be nice! Guess I can add that to the list. You should start a log here too! Nah, there would be too long gaps between workouts for anyone to find it interesting. //Jim Haha, I'd like to read it!
