Just received my COC grippers (Trainer and #1) and mastery of hand strenght. I am off to go buy some sledge hammers and borrow our thick bar from the compound. It is time I get serious about my grip. Having neglected it for everything other than deadlifts and farmers walk has left my forearms, wrists and hands with nothing. Any tips or idea's other than the ones in the book would be appreciated. Pureviking I will try that towel deadlift sometime next week.

O.K., I'll bite.....

Jesse,

1.  What is your height and bodyweight?

2.  How long have you been working out?

3.  What are your fav lifts, and the weights of each one?

4.  How did you first get interested in grip training?

5.  What are your grip goals?

6.  Can you already close the Trainer?  The #1?

7.  How did you find out about this forum?

8.  Do you admire and worship Sybersnott?

The first seven questions should be fairly easy, but I would like at least a good 100 word essay on question #8.  Welcome to the GripBoard!!!   :)

1. I turned 18 april 23rd. I am 5'11" and 270lbs

2. Been working out for 2 years

3. Deadlift --- 545lbs

4. I need grip for Strongman contests and to crush my friends hands. :)

5. Grip goals, well, strenghten my wrists a lot, close #3 coc, Plate pinch two 45's, plate curl a 45, leverage a 10 lbs sledge hammer.

6. I have closed the #1 the day I got it (2 days ago)

7. JD79 told me where it is located.

8. I don't know what to say.

Currently as I have said I have closed the #1. I have also pinched two 25's off a bench (not the floor). and I can leverage but can't hold it there a 6 pound hammer.
