Yesterday

3x4 Saxon 

210 for a 5lb PR then tried 220 3 times. Got extremely close in first and third attempts. 

Few lifts with 143 inch then 5 reps with 115 and some holds after.

From yesterday 1/24

Attempted to Silver bullet my #4 RGC 215 but failed 3 times so went to my 3.5 RGC 174 and got a couple good holds in. 

Back squatted 335 then 275 for 3x3

Pulled on a few vertical implements

LBH - 170

Hilt - 210 PR 

Minotaur Horn - 174

Lifted half 90 blob with lefty twice, right hurts in blobs at the moment.

Bench, grippers, Finnishball and Feats yesterday.

Benched 275 for 2 then 225 for 2 sets of 3 paused.wanted to do more but my wrist was hurting.

Grippers - CoC #3 RGC 143 for a few sets of 3-4 then back downs with 2.5 and 2. Lefty was the same but less reps 

Finnish ball- hit 64 the 3x3 with 59 

Finished with a 143 inch + 110 legacy blob lift (blob in left hand) the 143 inch and 2-35's + 7.5lbs (plates in right hand)  

I'd really like to be doing sets with my 152rgc #3 in a few weeks. We'll see.

1.9 axle- 340 for 2 singles and a miss at 360

3x4 Saxon- 200, 2 misses at 215 and 180 for 3

Hilt- 175 for 8 (5 right and 3 left)

Yesterday's workout

Grippers- few singles with my 152 RGC #3 then some doubles with my 148 #3 and back down sets. Lefty did ok with done 140~ closes then sets with 138 Standard Iron. 

Incline bench- hit 205 for a top single that moved pretty well then 265 for 4x4 last reps paused. Shoulders hurt after this might have to stop incline for a few weeks. 

86lb on Grip Genie block (3x4)

Some pulls with my 143 inch and a rep out with my 115.

Yesterday - squats, Finnishball, IM block .

Squat-  275x5x3, 225x10

Front squat 135x3x8 

Finnishball - 72.5 righty, 67.5x2x2, 65x4 

IM Block - brand new, slippery as hell. Really gotta beat some chalk into it over the next couple weeks/months. 67 then 57x4 

Couple 143lb inch lifts level

Yesterday

Bench and grippers 

Bench - shoulders have been hurting so went with a closer grip than normal. worked up to a paused single at 255lbs then some good back down sets with 225, 205 and 185 with pausing the last rep in each set 

Grippers

Right- got my 156 Tetting Tribute for 2 singles,149 RGC Tetting GM for 2,  143 RGC #3 for 5 , 132 Tetting SM for 10 and #2 x 15 with a 38mm block set. 

Lefty- missed my 152 RGC #3 then hit about 5 or 6 doubles with my 143 #3 and some other back downs.

From yesterday

Squats and grip 

Squat- 285 x4x2 then a set of 5

225x10

Front squat 135x2x8

 

Ironmind Blockbuster

61x5x2 still won't hold chalk well, gonna keep beating it 

Thumbless 143lb inch lift and some singles with holds at the top

 2-7/8 Napalm handle

132x1 righty, 122x1 left 

100x2x5

Did some bending and grippers yesterday. 

For a challenge by FeatsofAlex :

bend a Red nail in IMP's then use the legs to set a #2 CoC gripper. Fastest time wins. If you use a 2.5 take off 5 seconds, #3 take off 10 second and 3.5 take off 15 seconds. 

I ended up with a time of 17 - 10 for using a #3. A fun contest! 

 

 

Also managed a Shiney Bastard in IMP's

Homemade Axle from 1-1/2 pipe, 3x4 Saxon and a few blobs 

Axle - 325, 350 PR, 330 few singles

Added straps for some deadlifts

330x3 and 380 for 2 sets of 3 

Saxon- 190,200,210, 190x2x2 . Thumb skin was ripped after 200 and kept getting worst so I stopped earlier than I wanted. 

Blobs- legacy 100, 105 and fatman 90. 48,50 and 46lbs.

Yesterday

Bench and breaking in new FBBC 2.25 Crusher and 2.5 Jug. 

Bench, most of the last reps were paused 275 x 1 paused

245x2x2

225x2x5

185x10

135x25

2.25 crusher - got 160 both hands then Almost got 170 left. Then back downs. 

2.5 Jug- 165 right and 155 left, also back down sets. 

Hoping those numbers are down because I did Axle and Saxon yesterday but we'll see.

@stranger I thought your Grip Show episode had been mentioned here somewhere but couldn't find a thread. Good interview. Somehow, I had no idea you have been at the GripBoard since 2005. That's incredible. I thought you came around in like 2020. Wow!

183lb 2.5 Jug.
