--heavy Handles--

Appears to be not much different than doing hammer curls with a DB, reg or thick handled. I'm sure they work fine, but another gimmick that's not necessary IMO...

It has a lot of uses especially if you dont have a thick handled DB.

The curls with the weight in front of your hand can't be easily duplicated with a DB. These work your wrists very, very nicely.

Hell, for a gym owner at the very least they'd be neat attachments to the cable stuff.

Not to ignite passions about homemade equipment again but I made something similar HERE.

I was looking for something to concentrate on wrist curls but wanted a handle thicker than 2 inches.

I found having the weight in front much better than standard barbell wrist curls.

They are pretty neat and versatile, solidly built and a good price. Not sure how much use they would get in a commercial setting but they are a cool piece of equipment.

--as bob said the weight out in front can't be duplicated on a db(she has over 3 tons of db's)--different angle--
