Guest CalvinP
I wonder what are the best exercises to target the palm exclusively? My intention was to build a thicker palm. Since I started doing hand exercises my palms built up as a side effect result. My palms were thin to begin with any way. I do warm up with palm-crunches: Open your hand upward fingers closed (thumbs not matter now) then just crunch your palm, try to target the part of the palm where you have the "love line" across the hand (first line from top) Not just curl your fingers in, keep fingers straigth. All the while flexing the palm as hard as you can. I hope you guys can give me some ideas, thanks.
Tyrannosaurus Dave
I started doing pinch grips with the index finger on top of the plates (kind of pointing forward along the rim), so that only the thumb and the other three fingers were involved. It works the muscle at the base of the thumb in a different way and also gets the muscle toward the outside of the palm pretty good. Basically, a lot of the palm is just tendons, isn't it?
