Once you can do ~25 reps on a certain gripper, i don't think doing more reps with it will improve your max strenght much.

no,im not sore at all....i dont even feel like i did anything.

i told everyone i was not talking about full range reps.

i can do over 20 full open to full close though.

Impressive volume. That video was really choppy, hard to tell how far the gripper was opening up to. Looked like 1/2" at least most of the time to me.

OK, so I was not one of the ones saying you could not get the reps, but I did complain to you about your thought on chalk. Never the less I give you credit where credit is due.....Great job...............even with chalk :)

See its not so bad after all is it??? :)

I just tried to semi-duplicate this feat for fun. First set got 38 reps, letting out to 1" or so. The next set 8 or so minutes later I got 7 reps. I don't see how you can pull of that kind of volume. Mad props G...

thank you all for the congrats.

about chalk....belive it or not...my pr of 51 was with no chalk.

and my first attempt on this vid of 40 reps was no chalk....but the rest was.

yeah i can the 3 without huge trouble when i try it fresh.

im still waiting for two certian people to reply???

what is all on my video?

are my #3 attempts?

i cant view them on my pda lol.

about doing the high volume...

i only rested 4 or 5 min between all the attempts.

i do a tonnn of volume in the gym and never use straps...i think thats why.

also i ride motocross.....which for anyone who knows motocross,is a hellll of a forearm workout...pumps you up like nothing else.

I can reply for them. You told us you could do closer to 50 reps opening your hand to about 3/4'' each rep.

Your video does not support that claim. In most reps you seem to open your hand significantly less than 3/4''.

No one doubted that you could do 50 odd baby reps.

most of the reps are up to 3/4 an inch some are smaller....there not baby clicker reps my friend.

im still waiting for the haters.

next time ill have someone hold a tape under the gripper.

ill own you agian.

imagine if i really trained with my grippers lol.

i do it out of boredom,i dont take it seriously at all.

most see it as a cool accomplishment....but theres always a couple ......ah,it doesent matter haha

I think you overestimate how far these were opened. Also, stop with the computer karate. It's getting old.

Someone asking you to put up or shut up is not being a "hater" either.

you all have to relize this video was made on a whim,gordon can attest to that.

me,my gf and the dog pulled up,i got out of my truck,and 3 min later i knocked off 200 reps of the 2 and a few close 3 attempts,no warm up,no siking up,no devil metel playing lol nothing.

it was like any of you asking your friends to try to close grippers.

i might have to get serious.

bring out the specialized programs,and the medicated mittens and grip intell my hands get bloody and tore up.

intell i have strange pain in my wrists and tendons. lol

when you do about 2 reps a second its hard to think about opening to a certian depth.

the last 10 or so open over an inch....so?

some people might want to bust out a tape and see an 3/4 inch is small.

and if you seen the pms i got you would all see what i ment by haters.....its all good though.

Crazy display of strength 'endurance'.Amazing recovery time between Max rep efforts.

Very,IMHO,unusual ability to recoop so quickly between maxing out your reps....and not being sore?

A 'harder'(harder than Gordon V's)might be closer to an EZ 3 than you think? ;)

King, good job with all the reps man. You always make reference to how you don't even specialize on the grippers. Then you jokingly (I think) say that you might have to get serious and specialize with some programs and mittens.

Go for it! Show all the doubters what you can do. With a bit of set work and specialization you will probably close an Elite pretty soon.

I once did mostly high rep sets for a while. Got to the point where I could do a good amount of reps with a #2...but STILL couldn't close a #3. Sometimes the body just won't transfer the strength built from high reps to a max effort.

Some people can make it work. Like Zakath and maybe Flo.
