I will get the video captured tonight and get the grippers back in the mail tomorrow. The video looked good on the replay and I will try to capture still shots of the closes when I put the videos together. It was great hanging out with Chad and John.

For the record, Chad's MM1 close looked more like a formality than anything. He almost shut the MM2 when we were playing with the grippers after the certs were done.

To clarify, When I say "the video looked good", I'm referring to the quality of it and that it did look as though the handles touched on both Chad and John's closes.

John's attempt was judged to be no good per the set rule. The set needs to be clearly shown.

Since Chad's was judged to be a good John should get a chance real soon if he so decides to try again.

Remember, you get 3 attempts. Only one attempt was taken.

I was afraid of that... I asked Steve about it and he said it was O.K., so I didn't even think about trying another attempt. I just went with what I did and that was a mistake. :(

I will re-cert on the MMG2. Next time there will be no doubt whatsoever. :happy

Sorry to hear this John. We will make sure we get close up video footage of the set next time. The scrutiny of this gripper certification process makes the cert so prestigous and elite. You will for sure be on the list next time.
