Your routine looks good, but remember to spend time on the table. You will never get the same type of an armwrestling workout without pulling someone else.

I wish I knew of some clubs in my area, but I don't..and the links from pinarm and armwrestling.com don't show any Mass or RI area clubs.

Thanks

Behind Back DB Thickbar 2 3/8" Wrist Curls

Standing Alternate Thickbar DB Curls

Paul, you might want to toss in some rope pullups too. I was thinking about posting what I'm doing also. Looks like we are both getting started at the same time just like when we did grippers.

I've always had trouble finding someone to train anything with. You are not the only one that has that problem.

Gary I would be interested in what type of routine you came up with. Ill post mine tomorrow as well to see if it will help anyone else out. Rope pullups are awesome! Try doing some with 2 rolling thunder handles as well. I like doing mine half way down and back up. . .

Gary

I am going to get a Thick rope today and will be doing a couple variations of pullups. I have a pulling station that I hooked up too. I will be doing my A/W in sections broken up throughout the week. That way I think the effect on my gripper strength will be minimal.

Your right about us starting this and gripping at the same time...Good Luck!!

Thick Rope Pullups 3/4" doubled up

2 x 6 First 4 were partials focusing on the upper part of the pull for back pressure

Elevated Feet Diamond Pushups 80% full bodyweight

15, 10

Belted Pulling Station with IM#1

Blue plus yellow bands

Right arm 40 pulls followed by holding down 45 secs followed by 15 fast reps

Left arm 25 pulls (wrist was hurting) followed by 25 secs followed by 12 fast reps

That is my total A/W workout (last 3 or 4 workouts)...need to put it together into a more precise routine.

That sledging and wrist curling Saturday really fried my hands and wrists. I am supposed to start the BBSM tomorrow!! These thick rope pullups really work the grip too.

Hope I have some gas for tomorrows gripper attack!!!

paul how high do you feet have to be to be 80% body weight?

good workout

I believe if you use a picnic table as an illustration that on ground (normal) is 61%,

on the seat is 80%, and on top of the table is about 92%.
