Negative Chins

I did negative chins with 50kg when I was quite a bit weaker.

Which makes me confident that I can reach a negative chin with additional bw (65kg) within 3 weeks.

That's ok I couln't do much rev bending shortly before the comp because working towards a one arm chin stressed my elbows.

My hands are not fully recovered so I didn't use the wooden blob clone or the secret weapon.

I'll stay at 42,5kg for a while now, actually wanted to do so with 40kg...

I wont be doing any negative chins for at least a few days, my elbows are still beaten up from reverse bending at the MGC and I want them to recover.

I choose wirstcurls over formulator curls because the last time I tried formulator curls it felt very strange to my wirsts.

And I think the sheering forces, caused by the heavy weights one can use with an olybar in the wirstcurl, will make ones wirst bombproof over time.

My current attack plan for gripstuff:

day 1: DO bending

day 2: blob + secret weapon + light grippers

day 3: wirstcurls + formulator extensions

day 4: off

day 5: as day 1

I might change days or add rest if it doesn't work out though, but I'll stick to this few exercises for a some weeks now.

Looks like a good plan, but I'm not sure wether you want to do DO bending twice a week really.

At some point, my hands just couldn't take the constant stress and were all bruised and sore...

Works great in the beginning though!

I just walked past the bar and noticed that I pressed 45kg today :trout and I was thinking I was a bit down on pressing compared to yesterday...

I'll use 42.5kg the next few workouts though, if I'm not as confused as today. :blink

- 7" 7.6mm nail prekinked to 32°, came out a bit offcenter since it was prekinked weeks ago and therefore didn't bend at the same spot again.
