Na, I wont take some time off, I just had a deload week and I stopped my old routine at the first week of a new cycle.

A justa routine sounds great.

I'd stick to normal deads though.

Such a high frequency of heavy pulling seems to kill most people's hands anyways, doing it with an axle might be overkill. :)

Damien, I'll see if my hands aren't up to it I do axle deads only one or two times a week.

If my back can't deal with such a high frequency I'll give dumbell deads a try.

Gazza, becoming a Bastard, is one of my main goals for this year, I'll start DO bending after the MGC in late May, till then I'll just do a few isos here and there to get my crush up.

I'm using such a light load, because I don't armwrestle regularly and just got back into rev bending so my elbows are not used to sheering forces.

Talk about total body tension, my left foot almost cramped during the 9th set with my left hand.

Listened to Amon Amarth's "Versus the World" bonus cd again, now where is my battle axe?

1 Armed Chins

12 singles each arm @ 35kg deload

Axle Strict Press

12 singles @ 40kg

DO Axle Deads

25 singles @ 90kg

Chins felt strange no tension, but I can't complain no chinning for 6 month a least.

Axle press was actally harder than the chins, now how strange is that?

Deads were hard on the forearms, will have to do contrast baths.

I wanted to use my new olybar, so I went for a strict curl PR of 40kg.

Wow axle cheat curls got my curling strength up faster than anything else so far.

Pressing and deads were done outside, love the nice weather.

Just did some isos with 2 7" 7.6mm nails.

One bent to 5" and one bent to 6" between the legs.

Damn I used to bend these rather easily.

Did some isos on my rafter simulator too, not gripping the rafters but generating inward pressure.

I just added a 75% of bw strict curl to my goals for this year.

But I wont train specifically for it, at least not the next months.

1 Armed Pullups

12 singles each arm @ 35kg deload

Axle Srict Press

12 singles @ 40kg

Pullups were a tad harder than chins, just wanted to add a bit of variety.

After pullups I did some straddle frontlever pulls and got humbled, I had actually problems holding a regular frontlever with 35kg deload!

>Levers are hard if u are almost able to scratch ur knees while standing upright.

Axle deads in the evening, I'm hungry now.

25 singles @ 90kg

My forearms are wasted.

I do contrast baths daily now, and I think about sleeping with gloves.

I'll switch to sumo axle deads shortly before the MGC.

Two reasons:

less ROM > less time gripping the bar

my sumo pull is way faster > less time gripping the bar

My upper back is done from vbar, I guess I didn't focus on keeping it arched during the lighter sets.

No need to piss the neighbours of at 11pm with cleans so I did my pressing seated.

I just made another bet:

If I can deadlift 2.5 times bodyweight by the end of the year, I win a used hangglider.

If I don't, I loose my piano.

How many chins can you do with 2 arms?

Can you do 1 with added weight? How much?

Because I was under the impression that you should be pretty darn good at regular chins before training for 1 armed ones.

I haven't chined with weight in a long time, my best was 27,5kg @ 65kg.

I never did more than 10 chins, just don't like repping them out.

Just to clear things up:

Pulling 2.5 times bw wont win me a hangglider, it just saves my piano.

To win the hangglider, the other guy has to loose his part.
