Guest JSimon95
I have being looking at the Atlas Gripper machine and it looks like it is closed the smae way as the Hardy Handshake. As you know I have one of the HH and the more wieght added the more it forces you to use body wieght because the top parts is moveable and not still. Guest Dr Tom
I don't have the HH but do enjoy my Atlas. As others on the old board pointed out, the only difficult thing is that the handles are spread really wide in the start (open) position. Some of us have found it necessary to shim up the weight end so the handles start closer together, similating the COCs. The benefit to me is that you can add weight incrementally, unlike the COC. Also, it's pretty handy for negatives. Not an insignificant investment, though. I got mine for Christmas!
Sybersnott
I have an Atlas myself, and I think it most closely imitates a CoC gripper than the HH does. If you have the money and the inspiration, my suggestion would be to get the Atlas. You can go heavy; REAL heavy on the Atlas. I can't really comment on the HH since I don't have one. I have SO many grip toys now... I had to draw the line somewhere.
