John Beatty
Pat Povilaitis is the first "Magnificent Bastard"!! The recent announcement of "Grand Bastardship" pushed Pat over the edge & fueled a FBBC session of a 7", 6", 5.5" & 5" bend in the same session!! Congrats!! You have to wonder, and this something I never thought I'd even have to consider, will there be a "King of all Bastards"? 3/8" x 7"?? handgripperman
WOW congrats man. I want to see someone bend that 3/8inch. I dont think it can be done. I pre kinked 3/8 today and 5/16 today and I crushed the 5/16 easily. and the 3/8 just felt impossible. In order to crush down the 3/8 you have to be able to chest crush a Galaxy. which I dont see happening any time to soon. but I hope someone proves me wrong. Congrats to who ever becomes a magnificent bastard. Zpassman1 start doing fbbc certs show everyone what you can do. EricMilfeld
Prior to this video, I had my doubts as to the possibility of a 5 inch FBB being bent. Excellent bend, Pat!

rolf
I just watched the videos. Pat really puts everything he has into the bends. I have something to learn here. The best part was the end of the 5" bend video with the coloured plastic DB's on the floor. Rolle

terminator
Thanks to everyone! I don't know Greg, but I was lucky to meet Dave at GGC and besides being about the coolest guy you could ever meet his bending blew me away (not to mention grippers and everything else). Hearing what these guys had been up to sort of ignited a fire in me I haven't had in a while. I have been purposely avoiding the short stuff lately because it really tears up my wrists, palms, and skin and since my focus has been on shows and other projects lately, I'm mainly bending 7" stuff. I took a shot at 5.5" on Thursday night, bent it, and decided I'd go after them in my normal Sunday workout for the video. I paced a hole in the floor from Thursday til Sunday morning, and I'm pretty pleased with the result. Actual caliper measurement on the 5 was 4.930. I may have been a Magnificent Bastard on Sunday, but based on how my wrists and knuckles felt yesterday and today, John should have a category called "Miserable Bastard" I don't know how Dave bends at his level and still squeezes on #4's..... mANVIL
Awsome bends Pat. Would you say that is the most difficult piece of steel you ever fully bent?
